Today's offer from JJ's furniture store: Spanish Wall

Hello! Though I do not know if "Spanish Wall" is what this kind of furniture is called in English. Anyway, in German it is. - This one is someway in the style of the Art Nouveau and that's not exactly suitable for my current MOC. So I thought I'd (...)   Re: Comparing techniques (Error Diffusion Dithering)

(...) Oooh! Now that's a sentence with wonderfully ominous potential. Bulwer-Lytton awards, anyone? Dave! (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

(...) Because nothing is truly without color; there are things darker than lego black. Also, using a slightly-less-than-t...ally-black shade allows outlines to be drawn with RGB(0,0,0) and still show up (at least, somewhat). And with shading (...)   Comparing techniques (Error Diffusion Dithering)

(...) Indeed, the more colours you use, the smoother the image will be. But not everybody has that many colours at his disposal. (...) Isn't that inside information of TLG? Where did you find this information? I contacted TLG about it, but never got (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

Re: The Ryetsumaki - MC7 Ball Joint Frame

I really like this mech Eric. When I first saw it I was able to make out your style immediately but it looked so much more "human like" and proportional that I had to study it. I agree with comments made earlier exept for the hands. I think they are (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mediterranean Windmill

(...) I usually do that too. I also think it would be cool if Brickshelf could pull up a thumbnail from lower down when a folder just contains further folders. Anyway, what's odd about that picture is there's something missing from the thumbnail. If (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.schleim)

  Little Red Bot

This is a Little Bot I made using the instructions in Eric Sophie's Brickshelf Gallery. This is the second one I have made and I have to say it is a well thought out design.I had fun making it and plan to keep it around for a good while. Hope you (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Tatsumaki Ver.2

This is Tatsumaki Ver.2 This is a remake of the original using parts from 6 Titan XP sets that I have. I think this remake is by far better than the original. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Marcus Clancy Brickshelf Gallery (URL) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: The Ryetsumaki - MC7 Ball Joint Frame

Hi Eric, this looks different and very familiar. I like it very much. When I first examined the pictures I couldn't see what made me feel that familiar (despite the head). Reading Mark's reply an then looking at the pictures once more I realised it. (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: It's winter. The deer are starving.

Hey Jojo, Very cool. I especially like the rabbit over on the left. I've played around with (URL) designs> in the past, but never come up with anything I really liked. I'll have to borrow that idea someday. Bruce (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX)
