(...) There are some train pics here; (URL) the loco shell is seriously hollowed out. That does take practice. Although I got lucky, the second, backup shell is still unmodified. As it turns out, the track exactly snaps between plates arranged two (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

I'm not John but.. (...) It's N scale track actually, I think. I'm guessing that perhaps he did not secure it. (...) Previous posts by JB described the massive route-out he did to accomplish putting an N scale engine guts inside of a brick shell. (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Way impresed. 2 Questions though, 1) How have you sercured the HO scale track to the base plates? and 2) how have you hidden the engine in something that is only 2 wide (I suspect brick butchering :D).
