  Re: slow learner

(...) You know what else is cool? If you take one of those Soccer player green plate blocks (the kind that the soccer players fit in to via technic pin and spring shooter) the Xpods nestle right into the groove. Try it! e (20 years ago, 5-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

Re: Is it efficient to replace plates w/bricks in a plates studs up mosaic?

(...) Yes it is ! If you build larger mosaics, you'll see that it gets much heavier if you only use plates. The more bricks you use, the lighter your finished mosaic will be. The best method?? In my mosaic I searched for large areas to use bricks (...) (20 years ago, 5-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

(...) Mike, could you post some pics showing the construction detail up close, please? From the full-view pics and your description I can't figure out how it's made. Thanx, KDJ ___...___ LUGNETer #203 (20 years ago, 5-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

Re: Some fun for Buffy and Angel fans (sorta long)

Hi there, I've been pondering the aesthetic issue. Last night I made a pyramid of Lego heads, illustrating the schema in Scott McCloud's book, Understanding Comics.   Re: Tan Machine (MkII)
