  Re: MOC 8436: Cranetruck

(...) That is really, really good - it has the essence/spirit of the real thing. It makes me want to break open the 8436 I have and build your model. Jennifer (20 years ago, 28-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  MOC 8436: Cranetruck

Being inspired by the 4100 cranetruck, I decided to build another one a bit more challenging. So I transformed the 8436 truck into another cranetruck: (URL) It has many functions like pneumatic boom and stands, rotating cabin and ofcourse steering. (...)   Re: Bricksaic version 0.1.0

(...) Gorgeous! Bob, I've been planning out a program to do mosaics- but this blows my plans away! The only suggestion I would make is to allow the user to select the size of baseplates to use. 32x32 is usually cheaper, and a user might have a (...)   Bricksaic version 0.1.0

Hi all, I just finished a major update of Bricksaic. You can read about it and download it from here: (URL) Bricksaic is a program used to make LEGO mosaics. It is very simple to use. Just load you picture, select the colors in the palette, set the (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, lugnet.announce) !!

Re: Some fun for Buffy and Angel fans

(...) Hey, neat-o Bianca! What kind of printer is used for the decals? An inkjet? I didn't know that it was possible to make those..., this will come in handy for my plastic model work. As for the faces, I must admit that I have trouble recognizing, (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.parts.mod)

Re: Examples for the mosaic enthousiasts.

After reading your questions and remarks, I decided to (slightly) change the page: "This is what you need to build it": it was a Works Datasheet, I changed it into a Word-document. Advantage: if you click the link now then it will simply open in (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

Re: Examples for the mosaic enthousiasts.

(...) Phil, how did you open it in Excel? I just tried to and it was jumbled. Any suggestions? (20 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

(...) Verklempt? Did you learn that from Giles? ;-) (...) Yup, need to be done. (...) No arguement there ;-) (...) Let's not leave out Harmony now... or have you done her alrady?   Re: Is 1:40 minifig scale? (was Project YAMATO)

(...) If you use 1 inch = 1 meter, a minifig is about 4 1/2 feet tall, a good size to relate to kids, I think. Then use four studs = one "inch", or one meter. It's not really accurate, but it sure is easy! Tim (Smith) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Examples for the mosaic enthousiasts.

(...) hey maarten, I've printed a few of your "cameron diaz" mosaics and they look amazing on paper. I just opened them with excel so there shouldn't be a problem to convert them if you want to later. so what is ministech anyway? (is it lego (...)
