(...) Cool. Thoa I have to say, the "stairs" appear as more of a ramp than steps to me. Mostly that is because Lego is so blocky, that when I see slight blockiness I guess I let my eyes smooth it out. Anyway, maybe its just me. Love the MOC thoa. (...) (...) Thanks Joe. Those sponsons (the winglets along the bottom of the hull) were a big kludge...I didn't have enough corner slopes to do what I really wanted. Next time I'll use triangular plates on the ends! I'll try that dihedral idea also, (...) (20 years ago, 2-Jan-05, to lugnet.build)

(...) Isn't that just using the "studs-up" technique instead of "studs forward"? IIRC I think the Lugnet Mosaic Maker does that too-- unless maybe you're talking about a more advanced dithering algorithm? IIRC Eric Harshbarger's PixeLego program had (...) (...) Like the shoulders? WOW! (...) Very, very sweet. I particuarily appreciate how the doors close once weapons are deployed on the back pods. The main gun looks seamless once all the way deployed.
