  Re: Cornered roofs

(...) Wasn't a railway water tower, but I've done a couple of roofs like this. First one was a seven sided building (based on an actual seven sided bank in Halifax). (URL) Uses 8x4 wings. Next was an octagonal barn (place to hide the code pilot (...) (20 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

Space Wheels Entry: Nezumi attack vehicle

(URL) I hope I didn't miss the deadline for the Space Wheels contest (I sent the e-mail a little over 20 minutes ago). Anyways, I don't remember where I saw it, but the wheel design was actually inspired by an image showing how the 8x8 radar dishes (...)   Re: Seeing a tree instead of the forest...

(...) you're most welcome, I do apologize for not posting who the tree came from. I guess the second part of my post that I just realized was this - I'd like to populate my town with those trees, and if someone had already done the legwork and put (...)   Re: Seeing a tree instead of the forest...

(...) Wow, I'm honored. I still have the tree you referenced built, and if you'd like I can create it in LDraw and post it, so you can look at it closer. I've also got a better camera now that I can take larger and clearer pictures with. The key, I (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Seeing a tree instead of the forest...

(...) Hey Timothy, Trees are tough, but key is to get the trunk can branches done and then add the foliage. That said, it would be great to see sets on this. Usually 6X6 studs is a good trunk size, but don't worry it takes alot of building and (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

Seeing a tree instead of the forest...

First, I must apologize if this question is answered someplace that I overlooked. Okay, now here is my question - does anyone out there sell kits for large trees? (URL) to that effect?   Re: Tatsumaki

(...) Wow, Marcus. You beat me to it. (I seem to write that on Lugnet a lot.) And it looks really good! I am not a mecha person -- I'm a bit too old, I guess. But my son loves giant robots, so I've been trying to build a few. I have a half-completed (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Moonbase Module - Mech Bay 07
