  Re: Oldies-style bot

(...) Very cool "micro" B-9 you have there Jeff, sort of funny you posted that, must be "Lost in Space week", because I just uploaded my minifig B-9 (URL) See the rest of the cast of (URL) Lost in Space here> By the way, I'm working on a much larger (...)   Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back!

(...) Funny, because when I looked at the pics, I thought the hands were done rather cleverly. I'd never think to do that and I thought it simulated fists nicely. Overall shape of the mech is outstanding too. I like the balls on the back too. You (...) (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: 2-6-4-T Steamlocomotive

Looks good, the macaroni brick seems to be a popular choice for boilers at moment! Is that a hairbrush I see? My main problem is that the overall loco proportions don't quite look right, perhaps if it was rebuilt using the same details and (...) What kind of defensive capabilites does it have to protect the family jewels? And how tall is that mech fully erect? F (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Power Armor Mercenary Team

They look pretty enough Commander. However, the question still stands. Can they get the job done? PS. God I love using that line. F (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Building viaducts with curves and bank angle.

I've been experimenting with building elevated highways, and have several questions pertaining to such. I wanted to build on a scale of about 3 meters/stud, but I don't think that's an adequate resolution if I want to put in realistic curves, anyone (...)   How do you do this? Doors and roofs?

1: DOORS Working with the 6105 doors, (URL) , I do not want to have the bricks 90 degrees on as normally, but in a line - so the door is fixed in the middle of the stud, not close to the wall. This requires some very odd offset from the wall (wall - (...) (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back!

(...) That thing's got balls! (It had to be said). As usual, you set the standard for Bionicle mecha, and set it very high. cheers, Allister (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back!

Hey Guys, I'm back in it. I haven't posted in a while because I moved and had my stuff in boxes but not any more. Here's my latest: (URL) name is homage to my two favorite video games. Omega Boost and Zone of the Enders: Second Runner. And BTW, I (...) (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)
