  Micro'd

With 19 days left to Brickfest... I thought I would share a not so short story of what I did today. BACKGROUND - A few of my children's friends have taken an interest in the micro building I do. One of them even made me a few micro vehicles for my (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX) !!

(...) They did a great job with this model -- it isn't a temple though, it's a hotel. It's the Grand Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan. http:images.google.c...rand+Hotel Likewise, the Merlion ((URL) isn't just an interesting build, it's in Singapore. (URL) (20 years ago, 24-Jul-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: New warbird MOC: Dornier Do 335 'Pfeil' (Arrow)

Hi Robert The side profile looks great and pretty accurate. Much better than my attempt (although I do like the rather stunted version I have sitting on the shelf at home). One thing I would change on your model is the cockpit. I would probably (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.military)

Creator Show models (was: Clikits showroom in LEGO headquarters office - Billund)

(...) Thank you, and even more so, because the small pictures on the lower left corner of that other, Designer/Creator related portfolio page tickled my nose. Seeing a model of the Sidney Opera House here prompted me to sleuth some more. It turned (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jul-04, to lugnet.build)

New warbird MOC: Dornier Do 335 'Pfeil' (Arrow)

Ok, I've build a new MOC on special request from Chris Paton. Maybe it's the first from the Warbird Prototype group but for know I've posted it in my standard WW2 gallery.   Re: For building India, a review

(...) Hi Erik I have recently finished reading Prince of Ayodhya and you were right, it is a very readable, fast paced adventure. I thoroghly enjoyed it and reccomend it highly. Thanks again for the tip! Chris (20 years ago, 23-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: New mechs, Spartan vs. Wolverine

A lot of influences showed up in the Spartan--certainly the Marauder, but also the Cauldron Born (arms and missile packs), a little bit of Gundam in the different slopes on the feet/ankles, and some Metal Gear Rex influence in the cockpit (...)
