Re: New mechs, Spartan vs. Wolverine

(...) Thanks! (...) I hope I stay on the good side of that fine line between having a style of my own and repeating myself. Suggestions and constructive criticism are always appreciated! Something I usually like to do on humanoid mechs is use some (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Plymouth Prowler & me

(URL) I haven't ever seen a minifig-compatible Prowler MOC, so I made my own, and I figured it'd be as good a place as any to put a minifig version of myself* (wishful thinking, on my part, but what the heck?). I'm interested in hearing opinions on (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jul-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.people, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.technic.bionicle, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) Super! :-) (...) Thanks Allister, I like how you explained that. I'm glad I was able to succeed with this mecha, because it was a bit of a break from the way I built previous ones. (...) Yes! I've been waiting to hear you say that. Judging (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Eastern Block Mecha

(...) It's about 38cm tall - that's about 15" in old money. (...) We in the Eastern Block are a peace loving people though. Guns are merely a necessaary evil used as a last resort to protect ourselves from the imperialistic scourge of the PCS. This (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New mechs, Spartan vs. Wolverine

(...) Hehe. Inspiration can come from anywhere eh? These are good looking mechs. I especially appreciate the skeleton shot. I should do that sometimes. This is, after all, .build.mecha. It's an interesting style - very brutish, but realistic, if (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Custom Colored Parts (not new molds)

In seeing many LCad models calling upon parts in either custom or nonproduction colors, I wonder if anyone has looked toward the third party market. I don't think a 4x4 wing in Green and Tan would warrant the effort and expense of the thousands of (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jul-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) Now that I've got a stable internet connection here at work I can finally post about this. I'm quite impresed with the scale of this one Mladen. I really like how you've taken the detailing of your larger mecha and scaled it right down without (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
