Allister, youre on a roll lately. How tall is this mech (counting the hat
of course)? It looks huge.
|
Its about 38cm tall - thats about 15 in old money.
|
Epaulets, overcoat buttons, the big hat, the
granite jaw, the poses, theres just so much going on. Cool. If its EB,
though, its going to need guns. Lots of guns.
|
We in the Eastern Block are a peace loving people though. Guns are merely a
necessaary evil used as a last resort to protect ourselves from the
imperialistic scourge of the PCS.
This mecha is used purely for crowd control. Those cabbage pudding queues can
get a bit unruly at times.

Excellent work yet again, this has attitude just standing there !
The different poses exhibit textbook EB personality, though with the
rearview, you missed the chance for a Jennifer Love Hewitt patented over the
shoulder moment. Not that JLH belongs in any such text. ;^)
|
Thanks Pete. I did consider the JLH over the shoulder thing, but my lawyers
advised against it. Patent infringement is an arcane and dangerous enterprise,
and one which I would perfer to avoid, especially if it involves the likes of
Love Hewitt.

So, you like it then?

Oh my, this is both hilarious and wildly cool at the same time!
I cant get over it. The way you made this thing is awesome.
The overall form gels.
Wow, look at that!
It, it, it, its its cool and funny!
More cool than funny, yet so full of personnality......dude!
|
Funny is good. I was brought up on Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck rather than
Transformers and Robotech. I guess the influence lingers.
|
GET OUT, that is just great. Really, its cartoony and legitemately cool at
the same time.
The body is great, but what gets me is the head. I simply cant build like
that, Im glad you can. How fun is that. Wow.
|
Thanks. The head was one of those things where I had the idea in my head, but no
real idea of how I was going to build it. Once I had the face and the brim of
the hat figured out though, the rest fell relatively easily into place.
|
Allister. Your contibution to .mecha and LUGNET as a whole is priceless.
Im throwing an intercontinental hug your way. Catch.
|
mmmmm
|
Really, Im stunned at the fun of this creation. nuff said.
|
We in the Easter Block are all about fun, as long as it is proper State
sanctioned fun, performed within daylight hours, and all participants are fully
clothed.

Hahaha. Beautifully comedic. The execution is very stylish.

Thanks.

My only complaint is the lack of a bushy, waxed moustache.
|
Difficult to execute, and besides, the Junior Marshall has decreed that all
facial hair on men below the rank of Junior Marshall is verboten. On equipment
it is completely out of the question.
However, is this an adequate substitute?
Cheers,
Allister
