  Re: wishin' on a star

(...) This part has already been spotted, but it's not quite the same design. She asked for a 3x3 33 degree triple corner slope (wow, I hadn't really noticed how 3-centric that part was...), but the one shown in the scan is a 4x4 18 degree triple (...)   Re: Suzumushi attack cricket!

(...) I'd never really intended for the legs to look imposing. They're just for getting around, after all. I mean, I suppose if a Bakemono Legion Sam-Bot was dumb enough to come up from behind, they could deliver a kick powerful enough to send it (...)   Re: Microfig creations on Brickshelf this weekend

(...) Oops, my bad. I was just going on their inclusion on the "recent" page. Great stuff. My favorite is probably the Chrysler building, as it has some of the most interesting shapes. Bruce (20 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Has anyone seen what Jeffs been up to!

(...) I haven't been around here in quite awhile, but thanks guys! Right now, I have many new items coming soon, some for Brickfest '04 of course. The "action arms" are undergoing a redesign, slated for a Oct. release date. For now, check out some (...) (20 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Suzumushi attack cricket!

(...) This is a fun little moc, Purple. Altho, I would have preferred if it had larger rear 'cricket' legs. Right now the front attenaes look more imposing. And what is a Ninja robot? That's too funny!! -Lenny (20 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Microfig creations on Brickshelf this weekend

(...) thanks for noticing anyway. I was finally able to visit them up close during a recent trip to Chicago so I thought I'd add a couple of shots of the real buildings to my galleries. Spencer (20 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Microfig creations on Brickshelf this weekend

Hi all, I see several great microfig creations went up this weekend. Srezkall (?) added the Sears tower and the Hancock building to this skyscraper gallery: (URL) (Justin 2576?) brought some castle-themed microfig creations to a Sealug meeting: (...)   Re: 2 New Starfighters- Kestrel and Bloodstar II

(...) I started out just toying around with the wing idea and developed the rest from there. My approach to mixing the 2 light gray shades of elements was to more or less evenly distribute them throughout the model. (...) I think many in the (...)   Re: Moonbase Module: Mount SciBrick - Mech Bay 05

(...) It is an impressive build, altho - I tend to think there should be more going on in the rooms. It seems like the minifigs are wandering randomly. I mean, sitting on an active volcano, I'm sure there is more than enough to study and research (...) (20 years ago, 11-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: 2 New Starfighters- Kestrel and Bloodstar II

(...) Todd, Both are very nice - the bionicle/technic style of the Vedraan is very cool - plus I like large bots. The Kestrel is a very nice fighter. Interesting the choice of mixing old grey and new. Did you attempt to use it as a different color, (...) (20 years ago, 11-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: 2 New Starfighters- Kestrel and Bloodstar II

(...) Very elegant fighter; the Kestrel. I think the somewhat flat nose gives a good conrast to the slender shapes elsewhere. It's nice to see someone daring to use wings (with studs showing!!) on spacefighters. -NB (I'm a dino too, so I don't (...) (20 years ago, 11-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Santa Maria della Salute in Venice

(URL) (...) Many thanks for your nice feedback! (...) I had some fears about the heat of the bulbs. There are two 25 watt bulbs inside the Santa Maria. And at 1000steine-Land they sometimes where on for more then 4 hours. I lifted the dome time to (...) (20 years ago, 11-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Santa Maria della Salute in Venice

Incredible! I always admire Lego buildings in (near) mini-fig scale that capture all the details of the Real Thing. It is better than MiniLand, since I can almost imagine getting enough of the right bricks to build one - and have it still fit in my (...)
