Re: Moonbase Module: Mount SciBrick - Mech Bay 05

Another fine creation Eric! I particuarily like the buried skeleton in the side of the mountain in a shallow grave. I wonder what story lies there? The facility is straightforward and simple, sometimes the best. I can't help but want to fill the (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Name that Mecha

(...) I too, am working on a Mecha, in Grey and Green. (Lime Diet Coke was my inspiration, sadly) I like the look of this, something about it (possibly the thrusters of the back and kinda the feet) reminds me of the Sentinels from X Men Evolution. (...)   Re: Name that Mecha

(...) How about 'PerfectlyBalancedAw...ned-tron'? For some reason, Symphony in Green Major comes to me. A little wordy, yes...but it seems to fit for some reason. Great build man. -G PS. And yes...too funny on the Lenny Shot. Gotta do one of those (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Name that Mecha

  Re: SR-71 Blackbird

(...) David, Great models. I look forward to more of the sub! Your Bricklink folder mentions it is mini-fig scale. What are it's dimensions? Very nice. Ed (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Santa Maria della Salute in Venice

Holger, I already saw the church in some of the pictures released before your posting, and was very enthousiast about it. You've done so well to pick up the charasteristics of the architecture! Applause and much appreciation!! Very impressive. (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Murasaki modular corridor system

Cool deal David, this solution is necc. Since we never know how everything will line up. My buddy Tim, has a system like this. Good write up too. Thanks for sharing. e (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Moonbase Module: Mount SciBrick - Mech Bay 05

(...) This is just amazing. There's nothing to write; it's almost incomrehensible. I can't wait to watch this puppy light up, and catch all the goodies. Well done! -nk (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Looking for someone else's MOC..

Jeremy, can you give us some more information? I still cannot figure out which Mech your talking about. Is it in the LMHoF? Also, Dave Thomas made a Mech with a dedicated Ball Hammer in one hand, however I could not find Mecha Designs on his site. (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Moonbase Module: Mount SciBrick - Mech Bay 05

(...) Thanks Gil, you are very perceptive! Total Recall is exactly what I had in mind when making the front of Mount SciBrick, wild, scary, you called it! Xpods are good. Swipe away. Thanks for your reply, fellow member. e (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  SR-71 Blackbird

Hi everyone. I am new to the post, but I have been "listening in" for years. I recently completed a SR-71 model, after being inspired partly from Bryce Rollin's great designs, and a few months or so of research. The model can be seen here: (URL) (...)   Re: Name that Mecha

(...) You are my new hero. I tried to start a mech a few months ago with similarly sized feet, and got stuck at the hips, even using the same ball joint. Your solution is fantastic! And is that paper stuck into the joint to make it have more or less (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: A Wedding Sculpture

Hey Anthony, Great Swans! They should be a great addition to your wedding. I also was in my dark age during my wedding.   Re: Name that Mecha

(...) Awesome "Lenny Shot", Allister. I can't remember seeing a mech doing a "thumbs-up" before. The mech is also cool. You got all the joints to work plus the right sculpturing to prevent it from looking like a box with stick-limbs. The proportions (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Santa Maria della Salute in Venice

(URL) Blow me away. That is beautiful. I remember looking at the real thing in Venice and thinking, "that would be a fun build", but you bring it to life, I love the minimal grey highlights, The dome, everything.   Re: Name that Mecha
