 Building / *32535 (-20)
  Project: Gundam Completed!

Hey All- I have finally finished doing one of my dreams: building a lego gundam that looks good. Heck, I built two! May I present to you the RX-79 Desert Variant and the RGM-79 Sniper: (URL) Sorry if the pic is a bit big, but I'm proud of them :<) (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Medium Mech, "Brawl"

(...) I like the shape, that slope piece is a great canopy. Not having windows adds to the mechanical and sturdy feeling. I have to compliment you on the knee joints - clever use of the angled ball-hinge piece, while at the same time using a 3*2 (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: Pirate Landmate

(...) Well, if that isn't the best use of a skull ever, I don't know what is. This has alot of character, very cool. -Dan Rubin Chair of the Cyber-braintrust (URL) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Ghost Train

(...) I can't see your point. :oD Nice work Bill. (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Medium Mech, "Brawl"

(...) Thanks for the compliments, e. Three times as big? Plate hinges and Bionicle joints aren't going to do the trick anymore at that scale. I need to get me some worm gears... (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Ghost Train

(...) I was wondering the same thing! But does she become invisible by being inside the jet, or does it just look like a woman sitting down in a bathing suit zooming around? And if it does, does she get mistaken for Superman in drag? Yes indeed, so (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Ghost Train

(...) Cool! Do you want to borrow some of my clear wheels to go with? :) (...) Sorry about that, that was definitely NOT my intention! Perhaps I can make it as a set to go with that Polish artists sets? You know the ones I'm talking about. (...) (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Ghost Train

(...) Thanks! I haven't seen any of your trains, but I imagine yours would still be better! These only took about 4 hours to build total, and I only used the My Own Train as reference. Im sure there are MANY inaccuracies (as well as mispelled (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Ghost Train

(...) Hey thanks Mike! But don't let the fact I built one stop you! This was my first attempt at a train and was based on the my own train sets, so it isn't anything fancy! But I know what you mean, there are a few things I have been mulling over to (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Medium Mech, "Brawl"

(...) -sinp- Well that is just cool. Of course using parts like that for the head is gonna get me pumped! Boxey, relative minifig scale, Keep going, this is good stuff. I dare ya. For some reason, I really like the feet, along with the head/pilot (...) (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: Pirate Landmate

(...) You mean her secret ninja compartment? Soren (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: Pirate Landmate

(...) Thanks. I wasn't sure how the color would go over. Glad you like it. Soren (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: Pirate Landmate

(...) I have no idea how to respond to this. (...) Thank you. Soren (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Civilian exosuit

Glorious. I like the proportions, it's very difficult to keep a good shape at this scale. Nice work. I may have to build one of my own. Soren (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Ghost Train

(...) When Wonder Woman parks her invisible jet to fight bad guys, how does she find it once she is done? Does anyone ever walk into it? Do her invisible jet engines also use invisible jet fuel? So many questions left unaswered. Scott (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.build)

  Medium Mech, "Brawl"

Another in my "mechs-that-use-the-...-a-canopy" series, the "Brawl": (URL) A medium mech at 45 tons, it supports variable load-outs of beam or ballistic weapons in the arms, plus a pair of small missile banks mounted on the legs. Trans-flouro orange (...) (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

(...) I like it! I like it..... Too Kool! e (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Civilian exosuit

(...) Cool, nice post, thanks for sharing. I like how when people build power suits, the arms are up high and the shoulders are near the pilot's head. Neat. e (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
