  Working on a New Robriq

I got stalled on this one near the end. I have to work on some other projects soon so I thought I'd show what I'd built so far: (URL) Can you figure out which theme it's for? The few of you who know keep quiet! (Hint: It'll be armed) (URL) [ j o n ] (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  The Improve .Mecha Thread

Like the title says. Give at least three ways to make .mecha a better, more mindblowing newsgroup. No more half-hearted complaints, let's thrash out just what we want to do to rock everybody's moms harder and longer. Just two restrictions I'd like (...)   Re: Microscale MOCs by bccook

(...) Hello. This seems like the perfect place for me to make my very first post. I am "bccook" and I truly appreciate the kind words. Forgive the extremely late response as I have just became a member of Lugnet this week. I will take this (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: Robriq Moobot

Nice bot, though does it have any visual sensors? ...that can pick-up colors? ...such as red, for example? Sorry. Couldn't resist the obvious joke. Again. Roy W. (20 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Coupe/ Cabrio car

  Re: Robriq Moobot

(...) Nice. I like how it can crouch down for unloading. I would have given it a head (a cow-ey snouty one), but I'm not about to tell you how you should design a robriq :-) Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (20 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Robriq Skullbot

  Re: Globriq 01

(...) This is just soo... beautiful man. Soo beautiful. at first I read this as glob-riq rather than glo-briq. heh funny how that little accent changes the meaning. ahh the silly things that make me smile i like kittens -lenny (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Robriq Moobot

(...) Jon, wow! This project is turning out better than I ever imagined it would. What's next on the to-do list? EB-Robriq? IR-Robriq? Rasta-Robriq? Can't wait! -Lenny (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Tank Track

PITSCO Lego DACTA sells the wider tracks at $9.00 US for 36 links, and the smaller tracks at $9.00 for 105 links. That's just off the top of my head. Kind of expensive, but mint condition... Your call. Soren (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Tank Track

(...) Of course, the other possibility is PITSCO Lego DACTA (whose URL and so forth are, I think, in .market.shopping's sidebar). If you need a whole lot of them, you may get the price down to a quarter or less a tread link. Yeah, I know it's not (...) (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Robriq Moobot

(...) As said before, that's sweet. Wow. This is awesome- a perfect, orginal combo of organicness and a machine. Can't wait to see more tech west stuff. Maybe you could rip off some ideas from that Rockfish movie... some techwest ideas there. -JHK (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Robriq Moobot

Toradoch Systems approached Robriq recently. They wanted to build a bot that could be sold to small-hold farmers and ranchers in the New Malpaso colony out in the frontier. The result is a seamless fusion of Toradoch and Robriq technology. Moobot: (...) (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Generic APC

(URL) Click on image I built this APC several months ago but was too busy to photograph. It's a fairly simple design. I tried to mimic the Russian BTR series of APCs, which I'm so fond of.
