I've only been out of my dark ages for about two years. It was the Star Wars sets that caught my eye. I bought a couple and remembered how much fun LEGO is!! The next step for me was downloading instructions from Brickshelf.com for the old sets I (...) (21 years ago, 25-Mar-04, to lugnet.build)

(...) sorry i didn't post this earlier, but i really like this mecha.it has a very disproportionate "anime"look exemplified by the large feet and hands, narrow torso, and long neck. it's almost "cute". is this a replica of an actual anime mecha or (...) So, out of curiosity, I started toying around with the smallest possible Lego-cube that is smooth on all sides. IE no studs, stud holes, technic pin holes, etc showing on any of the 6 faces. (...) I understand what you are saying. I think this depends on the vertical range of the gait. The higher rise of the feet, the more the quad tips when using three feet to balance.
