  New Mecha - The Klymyth

A Monday to Monday MOC - (URL) Klymyth>; Quadra-ped Mecha: (URL) Here is a blue doggie I started last week, and finished today. It features: A single Pilot Canopy from the High Speed Train #4511 Star Wars Super Battle Droid Rotating Click Hinges (...) (21 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: The Parable of the Many Murders

(...) As good as ever! I especially like that the stoning scene with the giant rock is taken right out of "Life of Brian". Thanks for your contribution to entertainment of the masses! Arne, Copenhagen (21 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: StarScoot

(...) Yes, they are very useful. I hope they don't go away. (...) You are correct. It is just a prototypical engine type marking. Not all pink Lego is spamcake, and I try to remember to ask whenever I see pink Lego unshielded. (...) Piece of (...) (21 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) David, this is hilarious, and well executed. Way to fill a pool with gags. Too bad there's no room for surfing. :-D Oh, yeah, and the price of a glass of water on the moon doesn't surprise me one bit. ( My wife works in the arctic on occasion, (...)   Re: The Parable of the Many Murders

(...) Great job as always, Brendan. I think I've now read more of the Bible in its Brick Testament incarnation than in book form. But you know, as soon as I saw that the landowner's son was Timmy, I knew that the slaves weren't going to respect him. (...) (21 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) I'm not sure I ever saw that before. The invisible water idea works pretty well in his pool, because it's obviously a swimming pool w/ diving board, but mine would have just looked like a sloped sand-dune without water and someone flying the (...)   Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) Oh? In a general sense, or did someone actually do that to you? (...) Absolutely! Notice that even bully-droids and tyrant-wizards wear speedos in space. Black and red, of course, because dressing in those colors makes you look extra sinister. (21 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: StarScoot

(...) Excellent, Tom. That canopy really works well at that angle and gives further proof of the necessity of the finger hinge. Now, that can't be exposed spamcake on the sides, can it? No, it must just be 'painted' to indicate the presence of (...) (21 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

The Parable of the Many Murders

The Brick Testament has been updated today with a new illustrated story from the Gospels, the Parable of the Many Murders: (URL) Rev. Brendan Powell Smith (NOTE: To those unfamiliar with The Brick Testament or the Bible, please note the violence (...) (21 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.ancient) !

Re: I'm back (with new MOCs)

(...) Thanks, Tom. I've always felt that playability is a critical objective in my designs. For example, if I built a mecha that looked good but could barely stand up, I'd go back to the drawing board. It tends to keep my mecha in the small to (...)
