Some small Sunday MOC - Singer

Hello! After I stuffed the gaps in my Pick-a-Brick cup with those large steerinmg wheels from Jack Stone I wondered where I could them use for. And I can use them for this e.g. (pics = links): (2 URLs) The needle is somewhat edgeless and it's (...) (21 years ago, 14-Mar-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX) !!

Shaun Sullivan's "Steaming" Dry Iced 4-8-4 Northern

Hey, Shaun, How is your dry iced model of the 4-8-4 Northern Coming? Perhaps you already finished it but I missed the photos? Well anyway, just curious:) Build Well, Erik Bush (21 years ago, 14-Mar-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: Super Junkbot!

(...) Thanks Larry (and Nik)! No, you're right, the eyes don't actually move, but I agree that would be pretty sweet! J (21 years ago, 14-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

In lugnet.announce.moc, Mark Neumann wrote: snip I would't say they are getting easier to build, just that we are getting better at building them.   Re: Model being "painted"

(...) One of the German AFOLs did it with a railway coach. It was eight wide and very long, it had a roof made with plates rather than slopes and was being painted to or from blue and white with a light blue stripe. I can't remember who made it tho, (...)   Re: Super Junkbot!

(...) Other than wishing you could get the eyes to actually move (or did I miss something?) I (and Nik) think this sculpture is perfect. Great job. I like especially that you were able to get the legs to move. Bravo. Spotlighted. (21 years ago, 13-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Model being "painted"

(...) The building I remember was Rosco's ISCC 2 entry - Making of the Town Scene Included laying the road, erecting the buildings in grey and then "painting" them to the correct colour parts HTH William (21 years ago, 13-Mar-04, to lugnet.build)

  Hammer

As seen at PDX, the Hammer (click on pic to go to gallery) (URL) As the story goes two of my harder working minifigs, Jeb and Bob, were watching a light show one night. 3vil vs GA in low orbit.   Re: Super Junkbot!

(...) Excellent representation! I love when people are able to get a sculpture just right, which you've done. The eyes are a perfect touch. How tall does JB stand? I'd love to see the sculpture in context. - Kelly (21 years ago, 13-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: The Parable ot the Tortured Debtor

(...) As in "how can I tie this to 'backpacks' as an adjective to describe it, just to be silly. I could have said "wow you really "packed" a lot in" but that would have been TOO obvious. I could have XFUT to off-topic.pun, but, again, too obvious. (...) (21 years ago, 13-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Model being "painted"

Does anyone recall examples of MOCs where the model changes color part way and there is a minifig hard at work "painting" it?
