  Re: Update to my MOCpages

(...) Makes sense. I'll have to make one of those for myself. I wonder if I have any of the rounded plate in blue? Hmm, probably not. Bruce (21 years ago, 5-Mar-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: The Sultan is Back

(...) I'm with Lenny on this one, It's art, and moreover, it's better art (coming from someone that understands the medium) than some of the stuff from "real" artists, at least some of who, in my view, are using the medium purely for stunt value.   Re: The Sultan is Back

(...) I love this! I shared this with my wife and we had a mushy moment. :-) (...) I like the concept of doing abstract art with LEGO.   Re: The Sultan is Back

-snip- really cool stuff!! (...) Felix, I see this as you intend it, and think it is very powerful. This is something, along with the 'Guy going through' sculpture for Houston that i feel transcends to the level of true Art - that is, using LEGO as (...)   The Sultan is Back

Fitting time in for building has been hard these days, but I get it in every once in a while. Just thought I'd say hi and show some of the stuff I've been up to lately. I apologize for the grainy pics which probably don't represent the models (...) (21 years ago, 4-Mar-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.aquazone, FTX) !!

  Re: The History of "Schleim"

(...) Well, I ran it through the RAG(1) and came up with SNAC or Studs Not A Concern and SNIT or Studs Not Involved Totally, but it came right back to Studs Not On Technic. So, it appears there's no escaping the schleim. Peace and acronyms, (...) (21 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: Update to my MOCpages

(...) I'm using 1x1 technic bricks with half pins mounted in the hole. If you look closely at the picture you can see the tops of the two 1x1 technic bricks on the front of the mailbox - they have the open studs. J. Spencer Rezkalla (21 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Update to my MOCpages

(...) Jeff, There are a few more shots here: (URL) I intend to take more but have been dragging my feet mainly due to not having the energy/focus to complete the detail items. Oddly, I took almost no shots of it at the show. Unfortunately one of my (...) (21 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Update to my MOCpages

(...) Shoot. I'm among the LDraw illiterate. What piece is holding the rounded plates on? I think that the rest is visible from your photos. Bruce (21 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: The History of "Schleim"

  Re: The History of "Schleim"

(...) Do you adhere to the MUCUS? or does the MUCUS adhere to you? Steve :-) (21 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: The History of "Schleim"

(...) Oh no! SNOT is too hard so I usually adhere to the MUCUS building technique - Mainly Upward Construction Using Studs. ;) JB (21 years ago, 2-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)
