  New MOC: F-38 Impulse

Here's my minifig scale entry for Jon's P-38 Lightning contest (2 URLs) F-38 Impulse>> (URL) F-38 Impulse> The intakes on the front are built in 5 different directions if you include the text on the outside and the vents on the inside.   Re: My newest Mecha: The Judge

(...) Thanks. I have always been partial to the big and beefy mechs, and this mech was definately my beefiest. It did take me quite a while to think up a good shoulder design to go with the torso, but i think the one i ended up with worked out well (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: My newest Mecha: The Judge

(...) Praise from Da Man! Thanks you very much! I was definately trying to do a torso construction that hasn't been done before, although i did get a little bit of inspiration from GlaGla's latest model :) Thanks, Frank (21 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: My newest Mecha: The Judge

Ooooh yeah. Love that torso. Shoulders too, they look really good with that beefy chest between them. I'm a little put off by the red on the waist, and it could stand more detailing (figures I'd say that, huh? :) ), but the basic concept is still (...)   Re: My newest Mecha: The Judge

Wow, Frank! Check out the tottally interesting construction! Very interesting indeed! Man, this is neat. So many cool things going on. I like it. e (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  My newest Mecha: The Judge

Folder (post Mod): (URL) Links: (URL) right, yet another mecha! The judge originally started off when iw as goofing around with parts (a bunch of ball joints and technic holders) when i decided to make an inverse knee mech with split poseable toes. (...)   Re: Master Model Designer leaves LEGOLAND California

(...) Hello Bill, We’re glad to have you be a more active member of the group. Like many other AFOLs, I have enjoyed brief discussions with you at BricksWest and LLCA events. I see the legomasterbuilder website has been updated to remove your bio. (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Little jet, fighter

(...) Thanks Tom! Especially with these little sets it's quite difficult for me to get the parts at the right place. But I like these challenges and I think it's great for others too, because they are able to rebuild it when they posses this set. (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: P-38 Lightning Mark XII - contest entry.

(...) Allister, this is one fine vehicle. It resembles the P-38 enough that it conforms with the contest outlines, but you altered the design enough that it looks very spacey indeed. I think this is my favorite entry yet in the contest. Awesome (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

Re: Virtual Beethoven (largest MLCad-project ever ??)

I have to clear up one thing: I'm not really a fan of Beethoven. I just needed a subject for a statue. Among the 3D Sculpture Puzzles that were available at the time, I thought that this Beethoven puzzle suited the purpose best. Maarten (by the way, (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: Virtual Beethoven (largest MLCad-project ever ??)

(...) I used the same method, unfortunately I didn't have a 3D laser-scanner to start from. That's why I bought this 3D sculpture puzzle. That's another thing I have to put on my "want-to-do"-list. I wonder where I could find someone to sponsor a (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Little jet, fighter

(...) You've got some really nice forms there. The jet and the chopper have great lines and look very natural. That you accomplished this within the limits of one set's worth of pieces is that much more impressive. -- Tom (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  SchleimWars!

I think it would be fun to see teams of people battling it out at an in-person building event/tournament where the objects is to out-schleim the other teams and come up with really cool SNOT MOCs on the spot. There'd have to be some kind of judging (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX) !

Re: Virtual Beethoven (largest MLCad-project ever ??)

Maarten Very nice job. I like the "smoothness" and the detail you achieved by using jumpers and tiles. Ludwig lives. Oh, and I forgive you... -Henry (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Eine kleines Schleim Lexikon

Hello Todd! I´m so sorry, that I didn´t had the time to come to Portland and visit the Brickfest , as René, Axel, Homa and Ben did it.
