  Re: Little jet, fighter

(...) You've got some really nice forms there. The jet and the chopper have great lines and look very natural. That you accomplished this within the limits of one set's worth of pieces is that much more impressive. -- Tom (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  SchleimWars!

I think it would be fun to see teams of people battling it out at an in-person building event/tournament where the objects is to out-schleim the other teams and come up with really cool SNOT MOCs on the spot. There'd have to be some kind of judging (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX) !

Maarten Very nice job. I like the "smoothness" and the detail you achieved by using jumpers and tiles. Ludwig lives. Oh, and I forgive you... -Henry (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Eine kleines Schleim Lexikon

Hello Todd! I´m so sorry, that I didn´t had the time to come to Portland and visit the Brickfest , as René, Axel, Homa and Ben did it. But I hope to meet some of you guys in Berlin or in Zwolle this year or maybe (hopefully) at another Brickfest. So (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.loc.de)

(...) Maarten, Those are 63540 virtual elements put to very good use. You managed to capture the essence of his expression, and in turn what makes his music so powerful. Well done. I can't say enough how much I like this work. As well, thanks for (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Panda Mosaic

Thanks for checking out and the kind words, means a lot from someone like yourself! Now that I think about it, you're right, it is "studs out". I did struggle for a long time trying to remember which is which and decided to just take the risk. :) I (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: Panda Mosaic

Nice work. Not that I any authoritative say about terminology, but I know that I, and a few others, would actually probably refer to that mosaic as 'studs out' (since the studs point out to the viewer when hung on a wall). I would say, 'studs up' (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

Virtual Beethoven (largest MLCad-project ever ??)

Hi all, I promised a new MOC in February, here it is. (URL) Read all about it>. (2 URLs) Watch it grow> (0.9 Mb). Let me know what you think.   Panda Mosaic

Hi, I invite you to view my latest mosaic creation. This a “studs-up” picture of a relaxing panda bear. It was made for one of my employees in New Mexico who then sent it off to a sick friend in Hawaii. I had a lot of fun both designing and building (...)
