  Crimson Skies

Hi all I've seen Crimson Skies posted to .space before, so I thought I'd see what you all think. (also post to .military) Here's the SkyWolf, armed to the teeth with four machine guns and a vicious turn radius ;-) After Mod: (URL) Deeplinks: (2 (...)   Re: CVN - 65 USS Enterprise Aircraft Carrier MOC

(...) Hey Mark, I just saw this on Brickshelf and ran over here to sing its praises. Very well done. Like Joe, the thing that stands out most toe is the offset angle of the runway. The way you did the hull is very cool, too. I crossposted this to (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: New Mecha - The Rizmit

Man Eric, another masterpiece!!! I especially like getting to see the guts of this sucker. :) Sure wish I could see it in person. As with most large Lego creations, pictures just can't do them justice. Greg "Eric Sophie" <mylegomaster@aol.com> wrote (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha - The Rizmit

(...) Wow - Looks awesome Eric! I love the look of the red on gray (old gray!). It's also cool to see how you constructed the technic frame and then added the panels. Can't wait to see more! -mark (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  B.I. Joe: S.N.A.K.E. Battle Armor

Greetings, Just a small addition, and for once it's actually scifi-ish! The original mecha bad boy from the early (1983) toyline and first miniseries for you old geezers out there: (URL) It's pocket-sized diabolicalness...ness.   Re: CVN - 65 USS Enterprise Aircraft Carrier MOC

(...) Well, it's about time someone did an aircraft carrier:)! Very nice work overall, and the off-angle landing strip is clever! You plan to put teeny planes on it? Good work! Joe Meno .space paparazzi! (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.military)

CVN - 65 USS Enterprise Aircraft Carrier MOC

Here are some pictures of my new MOC, the CVN - 65 USS Enterprise Aircraft Carrier. It took about 20 hours to build, and most of that time was spent on the hull, as there were so many different angles to make. The model is as accurate as I could (...)   Microscale MOCs by bccook

Hi all, I've just now discovered a great gallery of microscale creations, including renditions of classic LEGO sets, by bccook: (URL) also have rendered what appears to be their own house in micro- minifig- and macro-scales: (URL) don't know what to (...)   Re: 45 degree walls using hinges?

(...) Ah, my mistake. I was thinking in terms of a free-standing wall section that was attached only at the ends. It has the advantage of allowing you to do an angled step-out in a long wall, but the disadvantage of leaving visible gaps if you one (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: 45 degree walls using hinges?

(...) Well, that really depends on which parts you use. The brick hinges that were suggested have the hinge on the corners, so the wall really would be 5 studs long. --Bram (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: Pander Hunter, an entry for the P-38 contest

(...) Thanx for the praise on the ships and you're spot on with the remarks about the site. When I finish the job I'm doing right now (I am LUGNETting in office time!) I should really do something about the lousy scripting. Alexander (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Table discussion

Hi Jon! I got my tables at IKEA about a year ago, but I decided on using the "AMON" table surface and "CURRY" table legs. AMON is, at least here in Sweden, availible in both 120 x 80 and 150 x 80 cm with a few selections on color. One being white. (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.storage)

  Re: My first mech!

(...) Thanks! I'm not going to be building any new mecha this year - I've just started year 12 and I need all the time I can get ( I skipped year 10!) so if I'm a bit quiet, well, that's the reason Cheers Matt "Make it so" (21 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: 45 degree walls using hinges?
