  Advent Calendar

Somehow my girlfriend talked me into making an advent calendar for her niece and nephew (I may have started it by mentioning how I make LEGO building instructions). In case somebody else is interested too (even though we are more than halfway to (...) (21 years ago, 14-Dec-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC: Gundam Mk-II

(...) Thanks :) Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I was taking a cram class and a professional exam (CISSP) on Saturday. Ugh. (...) Ooo.. I might just have to do that then :) (...) Nooo.. it's a ball joint going into a technic piece. I have a (...) (21 years ago, 14-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Lego Saddam Captured!!!

To commemorate this event in history, I made this little diorama of Saddam's capture using my "Conflict Zone - Global Crisis" near-future theme minifigs like the US soldiers and a quickly built "Saddam" (without the homeless look) minifig. (URL) is (...) (21 years ago, 14-Dec-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  The Einherjar

Yes, my newest mecha! Named after the legendary warriors of norse mythology, who fought alongside Odin at Ragnarok. This castle themed mech wields a giant chain mace and a shielded hand. The pilot is a castle minifig also :) This mech was intended (...) (21 years ago, 14-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc)

  Re: Assorted Tanks

Hi Sun Thanks for the info. Regarding Gallidor - I live in Denmark, (25 mins from Billund!) and you just can't find Gallidor anywhere. Closest I got was an auction on ebay.uk. Anyway, I don't think I am missing too much. But I am curious to see (...) (21 years ago, 14-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: A Castle with a difference

(...) Thank you for your comments. I had lots of years to collect bricks and finally, a dream came true. The pictures were made during the building process and placed in the same order, only to show some details, which are invisible after finishing. (...)   Re: A Castle with a difference

(...) Thank for visiting. It is always difficult to choose the right colour combination for this kind of buildings. Make it grey only, and it looks more like a concrete silo. The more so, this would have been if the parapets were flush with the (...) (21 years ago, 14-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: A Castle with a difference

(...) Thanks for visiting my castle twice! At first in real live and now virtual. It was a great pleasure to have met you and your son at LEGOWOLD 2003. And I have learnt some English (American) expressions too. I built this castle 1:25 from (...) (21 years ago, 14-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

Re: A Castle with a difference

(...) Hi Nik. 'Just call me Nik' I didn’t forget that. How are you? Did you get some inspiration from LEGOWOLD 2003 for future buildings? Maybe, after several years of collecting bricks you will make a castle like this yourself. I hope I see you (...) (21 years ago, 14-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

  NEW WEBSITE : MINIFIGVILLE.COM

Hello Everybody! Well, today's the day! The bid official launch of my new website.   Re: A Castle with a difference

(...) I had a chance to see this castle at LEGOWORLD 2003, and get to know the builder, Leo and his lovely wife very graciously shared a cabin with us at Lemenkulen (probably mangled that spelling but oh well). IT ROCKS! The pictures are amazing but (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

Re: A Castle with a difference

(...) I think picture 18.jpg is the most telling because it shows the complexity of the wall construction. You have accomplished what was only a pipedream on my part. Thanks for showing it. My only quibble is that the extreme compression of the .jpg (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

Re: A Castle with a difference

(...) In my opinion (1), its not entirely "eye-friendly" (2), but the work itself is amazing and the initial design is very nice. Its a great show piece.   Re: A Castle with a difference

Re: A Castle with a difference

(...) Thanks for your visit. The mottling was a random approach indeed. Just a kind of feeling. And by mixing different colours you can make bigger buildings, of course. Leo (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)
