Re: A Castle with a difference

(...) Now that is a REAL castle - not one of these wimpy Lego ones with paper thin walls! I like it, and have bookmarked it. (...) I think that set would be somewhat expensive. :-) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

Re: Evil just got way more eviller...

(...) By Plinky, that's Three-vil!! I should have nightmares but for the soft crunchy-sweet sourness of your Spamcakettes. Peace and Long Life, Three-vil Tw0nst3r (21 years ago, 13-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: A Castle with a difference

(...) Ooooooo, aaahhhhh! Did you find yourself constantly tweaking it to get just the right effect or did you attack the mottling with a random approach? Very nice effect either way, especially for the relatively small scale (compared to stuff at (...) (21 years ago, 12-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

  A Castle with a difference

(URL) time not a LEGO-designed castle but a castle as real as possible. Take the grand tour and tell me what you think of it. Maybe a nice idea for LEGO next year? (21 years ago, 12-Dec-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle) !!

Hey, Tom, What part is used to make the Dr.'s Cranium?? I know I ain't got none, but don't know what to call it to find one... Thanks, James Wilson Dallas, TX (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Canadian Flag Flower Mosaic

(...) It's very well done! Like the layered effect that others have pointed out. Though I would point out that this wasn't the first time the Canadian Flag was 'done up' in flowers... If you look at this pic very carefully... (URL) You will note the (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  The Coolest Picture

ok, it's 7:59 a.m., I don't know where I've been, but this is got to be The Coolest Picture I have seen in a long time! Well, this morning, at least! (URL) Really great work Rosco! Oh this one is pretty cool too. In a kinda sucky cool kinda way. ;) (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Canadian Flag Flower Mosaic

(...) They always felt, to me, as though they were made of a slightly different mix of plastic.... just a tiny bit softer. Perhaps so the thin stems don't break off? I'm not sure. Anyway... nice work!! All the best, Allan B. (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: 2004 Products see?

(...) Ah yes, I do see the antenna's base before the base of the 1X1 cone. However, The antenna appears trans-orange, and the 1X1 plate with side loop (that I thought was the base for a new shorter antenna) looks like it's the same color. Does this (...)   Re: Canadian Flag Flower Mosaic

(...) Thanks! Yes, the stems definitely don't 'stick' as well as normal pieces, but the way I have them arranged here results in them holding quite a bit better than when they are on their own. (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: Canadian Flag Flower Mosaic

(...) snip (...) lol (...) I'd like to make a matching American flag but with the 13 stripes it would either have to have 13 rows, which would leave precious little room for the stars, or 26 rows (or more). Either way the size wouldn't match this (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  Re: Canadian Flag Flower Mosaic

(...) snip (...) Actually the flower advertising you mention is pretty much the inspiration for this. I remember seeing them as a child whenever I had to go through Toronto and thinking they were pretty cool (yes I had a sheltered childhood). They (...) Fwahhaha! I think that's the greatest use of that helmet I've seen so far. Can't wait to see what Dr. Cranium is flying. And where can I order those Spamcakettes™? Mmmm. Food™. (2 URLs) >> (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)
