Actually the flower advertising you mention is pretty much the inspiration for
this. I remember seeing them as a child whenever I had to go through Toronto and
thinking they were pretty cool (yes I had a sheltered childhood). They were the
first thing that came to mind when I was trying to figure out what I could do
with a whack of flowers.
