  Re: Pneumatic Quadraped 242

(...) Mike Thorn tells us that movies are only available on Brickshelf during low bandwidth hours. I'm working on a website that does not depend on Brickshelf to hold my movies. I hope to have that up in a week. (...) (21 years ago, 17-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: B-97 MOC

(...) Booful, Travis, just booful. Best Crimson Skies MOC yet. :-) I hereby declare the Crimson Skies fad officially open! j/k Seriously, this plane is so very fine it's got me itching to try one of my own. Hmmm, so I'm gunna need four cockpits... (...) (21 years ago, 17-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: B-97 MOC

(...) Dangit! I was going to post my twin engine on Friday but by boss forgot his digital camera at home. I'll be sure to post mine tomorrow after work. Sweet detail, Trav! Your body is nice and sleek, the engines are great, and the cocpit is (...) (21 years ago, 17-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  B-97 MOC

Family legend has it that the grandfather company of Kane StarCrafters run by ElKane himself secretly made its fortune profiteering from the air wars of the 20th Century as the South American producer of the finest airpirate ships available.   Re: Pneumatic Quadraped 242

Does anyone know what is going on at BrickShelf with regard to movie files? I sent email to the webmaster but haven't gotten a reply. Jona LEGO Robotics Group of Ann Arbor (URL) (21 years ago, 16-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build, lugnet.robotics)

Re: COLTC display at "Our lady of the Snows"

(...) Thanks Jack. Boy, do I feel stupid now. We should have posted for AFOL's in the area to help set it up. We thought we could do it fast, but we spend 12 hours straight setting up, and building, with three people! We had tons of idea's, but no (...)   Re: COLTC display at "Our lady of the Snows"

Paul, Wow! The whole display is fantastic. I really liked the snow scene. I'm hoping get over to Belleville soon (from St. Louis) and see this display for myself. I *think* the coordinators of this display wanted us (GtwLUG) to help w/ some setup, (...) (21 years ago, 16-Nov-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.events, lugnet.trains)

COLTC display at "Our lady of the Snows"

About 5 weeks ago COLTC was approached to do a layout for the Shrine of our Lady of the Snows, in Belleville Illinois. This is a part of the Way of Lights, and part of the Lego display. The display is open to the public from 5-10 PM each day from (...) (21 years ago, 16-Nov-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.events, lugnet.trains) !!

Re: BrickCase, Mini-Itx form-factor lego case

(...) Cool! 100% Lego bricks! :-) (...) Oh. Not 100% Lego bricks! :-( All kidding aside, it looks pretty good. It has a much better overall look than most Lego cases I've seen on the Web. It looks like you had an idea of what it should look like (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Pneumatic Quadraped 242

(...) As you wish: (URL) Quad242 walking forward. (URL) Quad242 turning left I've got two more but I'm having trouble uploading them.... I'll let you know when I get them uploaded. Kevin (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Mini pirate ship

(...) That's the first thing I tried when I built the ship, but I didn't like the look of it being just horizontal. I like the angle from the hinge, even if the hinge makes it a bit tall for a forecastle. Thanks, Peter (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.build.microscale)

  BrickCase, Mini-Itx form-factor lego case

Here's the second case design I've built around a mini-itx VIA EPIA 800 mainboard: (3 URLs) The BrickCase is entirely made of Lego bricks and uses no glue whatsoever (but does make use of several nylon washers, nuts, bolts and miniature screws) and (...)   Re: Mini pirate ship

(...) Neat little ship! If I may, I'd suggest trying a jumper on the front two studs with a...what do you call it... U-clip? Much like you would do for a Cutter. Here's a picture of what I mean; apologies to Jason Mantor. (URL) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: CS Headhunter

Wow. Lotta guns there. I think he's compensating for something, don't you? :) Nice little fighter. I'm a big fan of pusher/rear-prop designs, and you pulled off the multiple fuselage look perfectly. Take care, Soren (URL) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Mini pirate ship

(...) Thanks. (...) With the 1x2 jumper plate, it just juts out too far in front if it's on the front studs. I liked the look better this way. However, I should probably put a 1x2 plate between the hinge and the jumper to put it a bit closer to the (...)   Re: Space helmet

My bad. I didn't notice the part where it says that the 2X2 round plate is modified. (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Space helmet

(...) I love it, I've always considered what it would take to use those domes on a minifig. I might consider going 'impure' for a Flash Gordonesque serial that's in the works. -Sean (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Some clarification

(...) I... uh... wasn't the creator of that. According to the LUGNET post, the credit appears to go to Martin Howard. I just happened to remember reading it not too long ago and a quick search on the LUGNET archives turned up the particular thread. (...) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.build)
