Re: October 31st - Picture of the Day Vol. 2

Hi Jojo, This is an excellent scene. I like the figures and furniture. The random fieldstone floor pattern is a very good detail. Ben (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: BIP Contest: Reloaded....again

Hi Jake, Is there a way to tell how many instructions have been submitted already? Am I just missing this on the site? Or is that information classified ;) Ben (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

  Re: BIP Contest: Reloaded....again

Oops...forgot to add .cad to this post! All, After a bit of slow growth in the BIP additions, I've decided to tweak the content rules a bit. There is now a new prize category, reduced number of BIs uploaded for all categories, and yet more prizes! (...)   October 31st - Picture of the Day Vol. 2

Hello! Today is not only Halloween but also Reformation Day. Being neither catholic nor Irish I've the reformation in mind rather than this custom that has not even been known here (Germany) before the ad industry adopted and established it. So. (...)   Re: is something burning?

(...) I have some fiber-optics, that's a good idea... now I just need to find them again... and yes, some of my bricks are very old... I'm sure the most discolored ones are as old as I am... (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Smoke Break MOCs

(...) A few cigarettes made from Lego is sick? How about beer bottles? Or an injection needle? Or certain pills, or.... :-)) IMHO a Lego cig is no problem and I think it's ok with you either as long as you don't really light it! :-) (...) Yeah, you (...)   Re: MOC: Cigarette

(...) Can't wait to see it! (would be nice to see it become a Marlboro pack :-) ) What? Do I smoke Marlboro? No, but I *do* work in the tobacco industry... Great work Bruce; sometimes great MOCs can be so simple... ...I think that's often my problem (...) (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

H'ello! Thanks for finally sharing this officially :-) I like the overall building, especially the stairs are great! I also love detailed interiors and yours I enjoy very much. Nice work! Bye Jojo (URL) (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: is something burning?

Didn't see this at the time Thats really made me feel like a geek, liking Lego models of screensavers of the past! Could you add fibre optics for the glowing heater wire inside? Not that I've used them or even know what they are like, are they even (...) (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Mel's Queenslander Home

A nice model with a lot of character, something I find difficult to get into my models. Its not just about detail or cuteness but something undefinable (I think, but someone define it for me so I can use it!) I assume this a house for fairly well (...)   Re: Beware All Grave-robbers!

(...) The ground is made up sand green plates and bricks. The lighting in my living room is really yellow, so it throws off the colors. I was hoping for some sunligt to reshoot the photos, but we've had rain here for a couple of weeks. I was (...) (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Beware All Grave-robbers!

Beautiful. I really like the mausoleum and the angel statue. Is the ground normal green? Something about the lighting makes it look half way between normal and sand green. Bruce (21 years ago, 30-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

(...) Looks great! It looks like it came right out of the graveyard area in Diablo II :) Love all the little details--lanterns, scythes, and the like! Wonderful job! Dave K (21 years ago, 30-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

  Beware All Grave-robbers!

I was hoping to get some better pictures of this before presenting it, but time seems to have slipped away.
