Re: The Brick Testament: More Laws than You Can Shake a Stick At

(...) Hi, Bruce. (...) Thanks. I always look forward to your comments. (...) I was inspired when I saw Stefan Garcia's 1950s Cruisette Travel Trailer... (URL) had it in mind when I made a trailer of my own for the Slavery story. (...) Nope, though (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

(...) The Law has been great fun to illustrate. I think I'll have one final set of stories to add in a few weeks before moving on to new territory. (...) Always a pleasure. (...) Thanks. @8^) -Rev. Smith (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  MICV MOC

Hi! Here's a pic of a Mechanised Infantry Combat Vehicle that I built. (URL) MICV, as far as I understand is basically an APC with enough fighting capability for it to take active part in battle, along side infantry and heavier armour, whereas an (...) (...) Brendan, very cool per usual. I liked the hitch trailer in slavery - very white trash (I see many as I look out my window :-). Also, some other notable cool things I spotted was the operating room (what is that clear thing in the corner?), the (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

We're a band! We're a band! With guitars in our hand, we're crossing the land!

Well this is a first of sorts for me on several levels: It's my first time to use FTX for a post so if this fubar's, my apologies ahead of time. It's the first (and hopefully) the last time I'll use such a long title but I couldn't resist. Gold star (...)   Re: Bridge Study the 13th

Realy nice work, Adrian. My only comment: I believe that the bridge would look far more convincing and elegant when you taper the collums from the bottom towards the top instead of the other way round. Engineering logic predicts that you need more (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.build)

Hey Brendan, Great work as always. Some thoughts on the building: Slavery -- That trailer is perfect. Was the trailer-park guy on the Jerry Sringer show in one of your other offerings? I really like the camera angle on the floor-scrubbing picture. (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: LEGO Sculpture: Crayola Crayon Box

(...) Looks swell eric, and this is one of your creations that I should be able to see in person, with a minimum of fuss. Too bad you didn't get a trip to Rochester out of this. Strong Museum is a neat thing to visit, and Rochester weather in the (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

(...) You mean all the black 2x2s? I only used 1428 of them; they're cheap. It was all those 1x1s in black, yellow, and light gray that cost me some bucks. (...) Thanks for the complement :) Adr. (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Bridge Study the 13th

(...) Thanks for the complements :) Creating that deck involved a lot of number crunching (a graphing calc w/ table function is very helpful!). It was finding the "right" radius values that was the tricky part. When the idea of doing this came to me (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, FTX)
