  mecha "moonbase" idea

Hi, I have been playing armored core 3 for a few days now and really love the way that you can costumize the mechas with certain parts (legs, arms, heads, weapons) and i notivced the recnt mechbay moonbase modules and that got me thinking. If it (...)   Re: icosahedron in soccer-ball style

(...) I don't have the parts to try this out, so my suggestion may be highly disposable. How about making each black triangle a 4/3/4? By this I mean: each black/white join would be 4/4, and each black/black join would be 4/3. The pentagon wouldn't (...) (21 years ago, 16-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: JuggerGnat

Shaun, as always, your creations inspire. As being one of the lucky few to have seen this up close and personal, I think it captured the theme perfectly. It's so easy to envision your MOC trudging around in some anime or a Robocop film. Now for the (...) (21 years ago, 16-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: JuggerGnat

(...) Hi Shaun, Wow! You have done a wonderful job with that suit! You have captured that industrial, excessive greebled look beautifully. I love the power cord - that's an idea that will have to be stolen. The bulky forearms really add a feeling of (...) (21 years ago, 15-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: JuggerGnat

Ooohh, pretty *stares and drools* I like: •The excellent adaptation of Gla-Gla's hand design. Gonna use that myself, if you don't mind. •The braided power cable, which incidentally just solved a problem I've been having... •The detail around the (...)   Re: B.I. Joe: Cobra Flight Pod (Trubble Bubble)

(...) Stick with the car. According to the cartoon the trouble bubble was in a constant state of explosion due to pistol fire or a sling shot (shotty Cobra construction). Jamie (URL) (21 years ago, 15-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: icosahedron in soccer-ball style

(...) Well... I tried to build a pentagon (using solid 2x5 structures in the middle) and I was not able to close it (too much tension). Perhaps with the bar and holes it would work ? Philo (21 years ago, 15-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)
