Re: News from Switzerland - Major Site Update

(...) No, the motor shown here drives the steering mechanism. The drive motors are mounted on the bottom side of the main frame of the lower structure. There's a motor for each crawler pair.   Re: Orange hands

I don't think orange hands have been made yet. You might try C3-PO's goldish hands. They'd look a bit better than regular yellow. The dull gold color might at least give Pumpkin Man more of a "squash" look than other colors. (21 years ago, 21-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Orange hands

I was wondering if orange minifig hands exist. I just got a jack-o-lantern head, and I'd like to make an entire pumpkin man, but I don't think it would look as sweet with yellow hands. Or red hands. Or any color other than orange. If anyone knows, (...) (21 years ago, 19-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Romkast Steam Plant number 152

Anthony, this is a very cool moc. I'm obviously a big fan of the sci-fi industrial genre, and its nice to see a project that doesn't have any specific military application. Although you have to know it would look cool with troops running around (...) (21 years ago, 20-Aug-03, to lugnet.build)

Beat, My first reaction: WOW!! This really is a masterpiece and it is …. HUGE! I just saw the images of the complete model, but now I’m scrolling through the rest of it. And while I type this sentence I haven’t seen all jet. But I ask you some (...) (21 years ago, 20-Aug-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Razorback Tank

Hi all, Finished this a while ago, but finally got around to photoing it. Those Jack Stone carbases can be useful! The entire tank design basically sprouted off one of those things. It has two barrels which fire 120mm (that's what Abrams fires, (...) (21 years ago, 20-Aug-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

Re: B-25 on Brickshelf - whodunit?

I never post here (actually, never really knew about this group), but I ran across this thread, and I've gotta to say to the builder: that is SWEET!!! As for the nose length, did they ever make recce variants of the B-25? A recce version likely (...) (21 years ago, 20-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Designer sets

(...) From what I understand - all of the designer sets come with an idea book for the pieces in it. For the Wild Collection and Microbots, on the table of contents, it groups certain creations together - those creations that can all be made at the (...)   Re: Romkast Steam Plant number 152

(...) Anthony, That's pretty neat, it's rare the people see the grittier civil infrastructure instead of missile defense batteries or gun emplacements. Hmm, you could always add a few turrets. Thanks, George (21 years ago, 20-Aug-03, to lugnet.build)

OK, now that I've been able to survey these photos on a more decent computer, I can now make some additional and more specific comments: You can probably surmise from my first comment that I was pretty incensed by the whole association of myself (...)   Designer sets

I just bought the Designer set #4096, Micro Wheels. It says the Idea Book gives instructions for 40 creations. I made the first 2 from the parts included, and could not make another without using the same parts used for the 1st 2. My question is: If (...)
