Re: The Brick Testament: Discharges and More

Hi, Keith. (...) I have to admit direct inspiration from the blockdeath.com website for using all-black figs to represent crispified corpses. My first inclination would probably have been to show the victims screaming in pain, but I think the (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: Discharges and More

Hi, Bruce. (...) Yes, sometimes the distinction between a removed pair of LEGO pants and a severed lower body can hard to discern. I suppose if it were the latter, it would be surrounded in 1x1 trans-red tiles, knowing me... (...) That's a good (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: Discharges and More

(...) Thanks, Chris. (...) I like the look of the washer & dryer, but at some point it occured to me that top-loading washers don't have the bubble-window on the side. Oops. It certainly gives it a more distinct "washer" look, though, than just a (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: New MOC: Sphere (6.8 Stud Diameter)

(...) This is at once one of the coolest and funniest things I've ever seen in LEGO. Your sphere looks really good. I've seen it before but I'm really looking at it now. Going to be very useful. AND..on top of that having the designers use your (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: B.I. Joe Deployment: Cobra Moray

(...) That Zartan is perfect!! (well, except for color changing skin..) I had that as a child, it's a good thing my mom saved all our G.I. Joe toys, (including the Manta and the Whale hovercraft) and she even bagged our old fisher-price adventure (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Sphere (6.8 Stud Diameter)

I looked at this a while back, then saw the one at LLCA, then I decided I'm going to build a building that had tan Domes on the top, with smaller cone sticking out of the top (not gonna say what its for, its a secret), But there were no useable (...)   Re: B.I. Joe Deployment: Cobra Moray

(...) Being cut from a slightly younger cloth than the rest of you old fogies, I looked at this and didn't recognize it - slightly before my time. :-) Anyways, as for the model, really cool and spot-on. Great snot work, and cool construction of the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: Hasbro puts Built To Rule sets up on their site

(...) I snagged the Cobra Moccasin this morning at TRU. (URL) impressions? Surprisingly cool. I expected a half-hearted swipe at the construction toy market, but Hasbro has produced an item (and, presumably, a product line) with good quality and an (...)   Re: New MOC: The Turtle

(...) Nice! Your stuff continues to improve per post Nathan...this is a great shape and and novel cockpit/windshield solution....don't see that too often. Only suggestion? Maybe the engine cluster....looks a little plain for such a unique shape of a (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: B.I. Joe Deployment: Cobra Moray

(...) Ahh, cool! I had this when I was a kid (in fact, except for the Raven, it was my only big vehicle) and I loved it dearly. All the gun pods and weapons are truly too cool. You've nailed the look perfectly. The use of the stickers is also (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  B.I. Joe Deployment: Cobra Moray

Greetings! A new Joe rollout...the Cobra Moray! (URL) Again, our apologies for posting to .space, but with the riduculous nature of most of these models, they're almost science fiction. Well...maybe not. ;) Please use the follow-up to (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.aquazone, FTX) !

  Re: New MOC: The Turtle

Nice, but I'd prefer it without the wings and wheeled instead. But still a nice little vehicule. I think the Turtle concept should be explored more. Terry (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: The Turtle

(...) Pretty nifty Nathan! The dark grey and sand green work suprising well. And I like those little landing gear on this big squat craft - very neat. Nice hatch too. The grill tiles on the floor are cool. -Chris (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: The Turtle
