  RSC Rebirth: Rounded Slope Compendium

(2 URLs) When I started the RSC for the mech-heads back in early 2002, it was with the intent that we'd have a growing resource for all the beautiful slopes, wedges, and canopies that LEGO has released recently. It was a nice intent, but without (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jun-03, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.general, lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mecha Modules

(...) you know...i see those chain hinge pieces used a lot and i really would love to know where/what sets those can be found in? are they in technic sets? are they even produced anymore? i seriously would love to get my hands on some o dem! all (...)   Re: Zipper--the two-piece flying helicopter

(...) Yeah, I figured someone else had to think of something like this sometime. I know how to make a gear train that can get it spinning fast enough, but I haven't quite figured out how to make it release well yet. -jrl (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Zipper--the two-piece flying helicopter

(...) Pretty neat. I have a friend who built something very similar to that about 2 years ago. He was playing around with gear trains (gearing up and gearing down) and he got a geared-motor to drive a gear train that spun up a model just like yours (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: New MOC: Sphere (6.8 Stud Diameter)

(...) Cool! This will be helpful for me - I will need to look into sphere generation on a project that I want to do eventually, and this will help out in the prototyping stage. I really like the stud orientations on this...this has a potential to be (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: It's a Mech...It's a plane...It's, uh, both?

(...) Wow, now you're getting old school :) (...) Yeah, nothing has to be removed to do the transformation, though it's a great deal easier to do if I separate it at the waist first. That way I don't have to worry about the legs dangling about while (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) movie, I used to play the Avalon Hill board game, which was also fun. Never read the book though). Anyhoo, I like your fighter and think it is a good rendition. It would be cool to see more from the film, maybe the shuttle craft, one of the (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Zipper--the two-piece flying helicopter

I came up with this a little while ago. It's extremely simple, but it's kind of fun and it's the first thing I've seen built of Legos that can actually fly! You can check it out here: (URL) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build) !

Re: A use for those 7111 droid wings...

(...) What a great idea! Looks cool too, as it looks organic, and that's tough in LEGO. Needs a rider, though:) Maybe a Sea Monkey...just a goofy thought.Mind if I build one for a SM diorama for Brickfest? I'll credit you, of course. Joe Meno (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.build, FTX)
