Re: New MOC: The Chrysler Building

(...) No, not quite... it's a little bit smaller. It would probably have to be about 50% bigger. I guess if I'd thought about it (at all) before building it, it would have made sense to do it in the same scale, even if it meant it would take longer (...)   Re: Prototyping

(...) [...] (...) Well, you've got some great parts ideas, and it's your call, but I'd much prefer you reveal 0% of your prototypes. Personally I want to see ideas on a finished MOC because the challenge of application brings concepts like context, (...) (21 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Another Homer Mosaic

I have seen a number of Homer mosaics displayed here and thought I'd finally add my own. I built it quite awhile ago but never took any pictures.   New MOC: The Chrysler Building

Hi, everybody. I needed a "brain break" yesterday and decided to turn to my pile of LEGO pieces. The result? A 1,500 piece model of The Chrysler Building. (URL) you enjoy it. This wasn't any kind of planned project; I just had piles and piles of (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Prototyping

I'm often asked how my latest mecha or space build went and many times I reply that it just didn't work out and that the item in question has become a prototype. Until now, I really didn't have a way to explain what thet meant. (URL) are days when (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Mr. Potter

.build.sculpture? What is the mech guy doing here? :P Last year, TRU held a drawing open to the youngin's in which a Harry Potter minifig sculpture was to be given away. It wasn't quite as large as the maxi figs on the display, but it's design (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
