Re: Of Snakes, Massacres, and Talking Donkeys

(...) Absolutely fantastic! As a tangent, iirc, the snake on a pole is how today's medical profession derived their symbol of healing--a snake wrapped around, well, a stick :) Love all the little bits (especially the snakes--did I mention the (...)   Re: Of Snakes, Massacres, and Talking Donkeys

(...) I don't know how you do it, but every frame has something new. I love your use of tires as headwear for Balak's elite guards! I also never realized that you could use the 1x4x2 lattice in a SNOT configuration as featured in the ark. May you (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

(...) I love how you did the red and white floor, very creative (not that I expect any less from you .-) ). Is that a broken sword or is the camera folling me? (URL) also like the chin guard helmet pieces as ribs! You could do sences out of (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Sd.Kfz 9

(...) I hope you find those arches someday. On a slightly related note, how did those turn? Did they use tank skid steering dragging the front wheels sideways or did they in fact turn the front wheels (like a normal truck) with a lot of friction in (...)   Re: The Jamocklaquat

(...) It was a great pleasure to be able to see this mecha in person at the GardenSLUG meeting. The pictures are great but to get a true sense of it's size you need to see it first hand ( especially when it is holding the mech from the Lego Designer (...)   Lurking to get the Job Done

Hey all, I've been a Dork and been lurking alot. I'm supposed to meet a bunch of deadlines so I've been scarce. Plus, after I completed the main assymbly of Jama, I AND my fingers needed a break. Good news is, I'm almost done with the final (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: GardenSLUG Meeting wrap up

Hey Jim, Likewise, it was nice to have you both. Your Mecha MOCS were very cool. I realy liked them. Of course I have a soft spot for stuff like that.   Re: Just an old one: Scania R143E

(...) That's a lot of 24x34 wheels! Everything is well done and detailed, as usual. Do you have any details on the funcions? I noticed some pneumatic lines, but it's not apparent what cylinders they operate and what the cylinders do. How does the (...)   Re: Just an old one: Scania R143E

(...) Nice Dennis! It's a very good model, although I can't make out much detail. It would be cool to see how much your building skills have improved over the last six years, I'd bet a ton!   Re: New Click Hinge

(...) Apparently these are causing a problem for the park Modelmakers. They use the old hinges which are only a plate high, as detailing in models by having them stick out for things like eyebrows on people and now they won't be able to get them any (...)   Re: New Click Hinge

(...) (URL) like you're both right. I agree with Tim though. Although I do like the new click hinges, I really hope they don't give up on the old ones completely. On that note the old ones even appear in any of this year's sets? Allister (21 years ago, 7-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Click Hinge

(...) Dude I'm taking about the 1 x 2 plate with TWO studs and the click hinge on the end. That is COMPLETELY new to my knowledge. The 1 x 2 with ONE stud the click hinge on top is pretty common now. I feel you though, thanks. t (21 years ago, 7-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
