Hi everyone! While chatting with Ashley Glennon at BricksWest 2003, I found myself inspired to build in microscale and with a limited selection of parts. Alrighty then, here's the list: 1) More Throwbot gearboxes - (URL) These are SOOOO important and now they seem to be in very short supply. 2) More SBD rotation joints. New mech called Angel, (URL) teaser in case the folder isn't moderated yet, though BS has been remarkably fast! Who do we thank for that? (URL) here is a police mech I call Angel. When I was younger, I thught a 1x1 cylinder with just a head & hair/hat/etc. was the cutest minifig or a baby minifig-seems Brendan Powell Smith had the same idea on the Brick Testament. (...) Okay, sorry for the misunderstanding. 1x1 clip plates 1x1 brick with studs on 5 sides 1x1 plate with eyehole on side. 1x1 plate with clip on side 4x1 lightsaber blade 3x1 Technic axle with stud More generally: Standard and inverse slopes, plates of (...) (...) I'd prefer these to ball joints, given the choice. The latter are just to weak to support any weight without some extra stiffening, IMO. Now.... I used balljoints for NekoII's ankles, basically supporting her whole frame, but I restricted the (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
