  Re: Minifig Halloween costume

Re: ==Newest Mechs==**Very first all lego mech!!**

(...) You should say that, the short bus has better air-conditioning than the big one does.... this is a funny thread, i hope it stays for a long time......... (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: USS Duluth - Hull design innovation!

(...) OK, I've posted pictures "under the hood." The design is so simple that you'll probably kick yourself for not thinking of it. I have been all week! It will be really easy to render construction plans in L-draw, because the two sides could be (...) (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: USS Duluth - Hull design innovation!

(...) It's just over 48 inches (with the flag). I added a top down photo, but it's a fuzzy since I had to take it standing on a chair! Dan (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Mecha "For Girls"

(...) So without a pink visor, it's clever to use a classic space helmet. No visors (except for castle...)... Frank (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: USS Duluth - Hull design innovation!

Dan, this is a *quantum* leap forward in hull design. I, too, am curious as to how you did it. Construction details would be great! I tremble at the thought of a minifig-scale rendition. -Teddy (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: USS Duluth - Hull design innovation!

(...) This looks beautiful! I can't get over how smoothly and effectively the flexing works! What sort of structure is on the inside of the ship to hold the hull in position? How long is the overall model? Any chance we can get a top-down view? (...) (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

USS Duluth - Hull design innovation!

Partially inspired by Mattias Mårtensson's USS Fletcher, and partly out of my own curiosity to attempt a new ship-building technique, I threw together a 1/4 size version of the minifig scale Cleveland Class curiser I've been dreaming about building (...)   Re: LEGO Sculpture: A Birthday Cake

(...) I like it! I'm dissapointed to see it has somebody else's name on it. My birthday is March 9 and I was hoping my wife had it done up for me :) I hope Ms Wedderspoon enjoys her cake. Take Care Patrick (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories

(...) See, now these are the goodies I've been waiting for! The WW2 stuff is great and I hope it does really well for you, but I have my hands full with pirates and castles (and I simply didn't respond because I never saw the message until now). (...)   Re: Mecha "For Girls"

(...) Exceedingly cute, and manages to still look like a battle machine despite being colored in pastels. I'm sure whoever thought up the Paradisa line would be proud. :P It's too bad there are no pink visors--the one thing that really bugs me about (...)   Re: MOC: WWII Japanese Heavy Cruiser "Takao"

Wow! A very impressive model with a lot of amazing details. Unfortunately a lot of the pictures in the "exposition" section appear to be broken or at least halfway-broken, although the thumbnails look ok. For example 3-takao-todd-02.jpg (...)
