  Re: MOC - Autobot Bitstream

Woof! Very smooth. Like you say, who knows what kind of car that is, who cares! It looks cool enough. Dig the way the legs come apart and then the poses, Great! Can't say I'd cut my peices, but that's me. This turned out great! Mark (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MOC: Articualted Power Exosuit.

(...) mecha building, but I know it isn't easy to do that. The honkin' feet give it a solid look, and the oversized hands seem to fit it really well too. -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MOC: Articualted Power Exosuit.

That's a blast! The scaling of it is great...big hands, big feet (which totally rock BTW), big head. A lot of mecha seem to be tall and lithe...this guy bucks the trend and does it well! Very cool. The natural poses are hilarious....the shrug just (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MOC - Autobot Bitstream

(...) Thanks! Yeah, I agree that Lego and Transformers go together perfectly. It's surprising to me just how few models there are out there. I mean, there are tons of transforming creations out there, but where are all the Transformers creations? (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MOC: Articualted Power Exosuit.

yes!!! this mech is awesome!! nice job for your "first" mech. those huge hands are my favorite part. it gives the mech the proverbial "superdeformed" anime look. nice arm articulation as well. ahh, if it only had weapons ;]... (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  MOC: Articualted Power Exosuit.

Hi, This is my first go at a mech of any size. I've done a couple of small ones to 'get the feel' and have been learning a lot from the masters in .mecha. This mech is designed as a general purpose machine useful in any situation from construction (...)   Re: Are LEGO going for military models now?

Are LEGO going for military models now?

After looking at the following set: (URL) would seem that LEGO are working towards building military models...This one looks rather like an attack shopper with 'radar' and SAM battery...though this could just be my seeing something that isn't (...)   Re: We need a new curator

(...) As much as I don't like to say bad things about others... I'd have to agree with Mr. Sophie. I've seen this happen to a lot of sites... The sidebar stops changing, the polls are no more, the links aren't updated... This is a sickening trend (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

(...) It's OK. In doing so I found a nice little bit of narrative in Leviticus that I'd inadvertantly skipped over. I think I'll try to add it to the site next week.   Re: We need a new curator

I second. I think that Dave really innovated the sidebar here and made it alot more interactive, but it seems he has let it go.
