(...) Thanks! Yes they are pretty ubiquitous in Japanese shops. Some Chinese restaurants have them too. There are actually several kinds; some are for good luck and some are for money; the kanji on the coin the cat is holding and which arm is raised (...) (...) Thanks. I've been wanting to build a new sculpture for almost a year but have been stuck with "builders block"... finally I got this brainstorm. (...) Sonna koto!
