  Re: Metroid: The Hunter

(...) scheme is perfect. I have got to try and make one of those even if it is only half as good. You have got to make her ship too that would rock any plans to do so? -James (URL) (22 years ago, 19-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Metroid: The Hunter

I got a really cool idea on how to make a Samus Aran minifig. My NLSO was kind enough to do the custom paint job for me. Now I have 'The Hunter' as a minifig. (URL) in case someone doesn't know Samus Aran is the main character in the Metroid series (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: MOC: Willys Jeep with variations

(...) impressed how you made it scale well with minifigs. Turns out that car bod part is the easiest to get two minifigs side by side. You did a great job with the color variants also...so much I'll be making one of these soon with some kind of (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)

In lugnet.build.mecha, Geordan Hankinson writes: <snip> (...) floor me. My faves about this one: Those big damn tan weapons, and the use of minifig legs for knee joints. Great uniqueness.   New WTC design prototype

All: A lot of you have already seen my World Trade Center, which has sadly been disassembled. I'd always been fascinated with the design of the plaza and the buildings, and I've decided to give it another try. I posted some pictures on brickshelf of (...)   Re: Two new creations, MP-2 Visage II and the Long Range Mecha Transport Vehicle (LRMTV)

Nice. I think the features were well worth the two-month wait. The color scheme is very nice, all the right ones in the right places. Take care Soren (22 years ago, 18-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: MOC: Willys Jeep with variations

Thanks Tobbe I am glad you like the models. Regarding the orange and dark grey version it was just an experiment from the beginning, but I found that orange and dark greu contrast to each other in an exciting way. My first dark grey seat-area was (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Two new creations, MP-2 Visage II and the Long Range Mecha Transport Vehicle (LRMTV)

dang, this mecha just makes me want to delve into the "studless" look even more. too bad tiles are so expensive at bricklink. very nice form, especially how the v-shape of the torso really accents the bulkiness of the legs and armor. i also like how (...) Rev., Thanks for the kind words. I had meant to resize them before posting, so that's my bad. Of course, I am humbled in your presence and honored by your words. ;-) Thanks again! onedaycnn (sid) (URL) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.ancient)

(...) Hey, it looks well worth the wait. (...) I tried removable armor once, just once, before deciding it was not for me.
