Like last year, there will be a panel at BricksWest for sculptures. I am organizing it, and would like to invite LEGO sculptors from around the world to participate. The panel is scheduled tentatively for Sunday Feb 16 at 10am. If you're interested (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.events.brickswest)

  MOC: Y-Wing Starfighter

Hi guys. I finally got around to posting my Y-Wing. It uses a 1 foot:1 stud scale; smaller than my original but far more accurate. Y-Wing - (URL) Gold Leader to pilot - (URL) let me know what you think of it. Thanks ---...--- -Bruce Brucey-Wan's (...)   Re: It's perfect!

(...) Hmm, I dont recall seeing a speeder bike during the Hoth scenes, but I have noticed one thing: 3 new minifigs, prolly going to be very much in demand, and I would guess they are only going to be available in this $89.99 set... (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Harpy Air Superiority Fighter

Hey Ryan I like that alot! It has a very cool overall look too it. Fictional Future aircraft are a favourite of mine. Espeicially when they look awesome like this one. The apparent stealth features are very nice, like Bryce said, cool resemblance to (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: PA003 Power Armor

Hey David That looks really good, That is a cool way to attach the arms, and I really like the head. Very clean, it pulls the model together. Ooo and a fig can fit inside, an added bonus! Great work, keep it up. -Geordan (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Thanks

Many thanks to everyone who took the time to critique my fishing village. I was overwhelmed by the complements. Manfred, that link was interesting, thanks. The canal desing was largely limited by the parts I had remaining at that point, but I'm glad (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: PA003 Power Armor

(...) Wow there guy! hahaha. Thanks for the high compliment man. Your K3A-Landmate is awesome dude. Have you made instructions for it? I would be interested if you did. Are you planing to share more mechs with us? I hope you do. Take care. (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: PA003 Power Armor

This is way too cool. David (if you don't mind the undue familiarity), you rock my world. I really like the detail on this one. The cockpit is masterful. (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Japanese Fishing Village

(...) I have to say something in Keith's defence. Straight canals and higly profiled embankments are not uncommon in Japan's coastal regions. In the 19th century for instance, Dutch hydraulic engineers contributed to extensive river regulation (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Playing with scale

(...) Yup, a 1962 Volkswagen Microbus. :) Modeled after my minifig-scale VW microbus ( (URL) ). I had the flowers sitting around on the floor near where I was building, and it just seemed a perfect match. :) They're attached by sticking their (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)
