Hmm..very interesting. I think I'll be hard pressed to come up with the parts as I've basically dwelled in Space all these years. Um, that didn't quite come out right. We were at Legoland CA over the weekend... The main cables ARE made from 2x2 round bricks, and the vertical cables use 1x1 round bricks. BTW, they've already started decorating Miniland for the holidays. A large Christmas tree was set up at (...) (22 years ago, 18-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Alrightey then, There's been so many good responses that I've decided to ditch the poll idea as unecessarily delaying the whole process. I can't wait to see some creations. So... Well, folks, it's down to the last stretch. There were very few entries since that big rush at the beginning of October. When I built my chateau a few years back, it was simply an exercise of love-- bulk bricks had just become available, and the doors to creating larger and more complicated and detailed MOCs were opened. just wanted to ask some fellow mech-ers exactly what constitutes a point of articulation. i am just finishing my second mech and i used at lease seven ball joints for the shoulders, hips, waist, and feet. i also used plate hinges in elbows and (...)
