We were at Legoland CA over the weekend... The main cables ARE made from 2x2 round bricks, and the vertical cables use 1x1 round bricks. BTW, they've already started decorating Miniland for the holidays. A large Christmas tree was set up at (...) (22 years ago, 18-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

When I built my chateau a few years back, it was simply an exercise of love-- bulk bricks had just become available, and the doors to creating larger and more complicated and detailed MOCs were opened. just wanted to ask some fellow mech-ers exactly what constitutes a point of articulation. i am just finishing my second mech and i used at lease seven ball joints for the shoulders, hips, waist, and feet. i also used plate hinges in elbows and (...)   New MOC: X2000 - the Swedish high speed train
 
Hi all I have put up some pictures of my latest MOC. (URL) is a model of the Swedish high speed train X2000. The original has a tilting mechanism to allow fast running through tight curves, but my model is only suitable for straight Lego track and (...)
