(URL) anyone else noticed that these have little lugs underneath instead of the usual "posts", allowing them to be offest 1/2 stud from the piece underneath? ROSCO (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: NWBrickCon on Nickelodeon

Re: New MOCs: hoppers, cars, microtank

(...) Ah, but that's the softer pneumatic pipes, not the harder flex-system tubing. (Although they could be the same now, as I haven't seen a pneumatic set since they introduced double-acting cylinders). Jason J Railton (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

Re: New MOCs: hoppers, cars, microtank

(...) Some Technic sets require the cutting of flex tubing. This page of Set 8459 - Pneumatic Front End Loader instructions shows what the various lengths are needed to cut the long pieces included in the box into: (URL) Bob (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

Re: New MOCs: hoppers, cars, microtank

(...) Oh...Perfect!!! Now I know what to do with my future freight cars. (...) I'm assuming this is from the older (early 90s) sets? I've never seen an instruction booklet with that. They've always been at the right lengths right out of the box. (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

Re: MOC: Police and Fire hardsuits (a la Mladen Pejic's PIXIE)

Re: [MOC][MECHA]My answer to Master Pejic about Powered_Suits.

Hello, Geordan ! As first, I love your "RF-79 Tiger". It maybe made of "Mladenium", ;-) but your tiger has a very unique and neat form. A brilliant work! (...) Thank you ;-) Now I'd try to explain some design_work of NIGHTMARE, as reply to you. (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Lego WTC (World Trade Center) Kit

How about a new site design kit. In light of the current statement: "The person who can give us a new WTC may not have been born yet" (referring to the challenging design review now underway) However, everybody has one already... or is there (...)   Re: [MOC][MECHA]My answer to Master Pejic about Powered_Suits.

Kotaro! Wow! That is fantasitic! There is so much that I like about this, that curved slope in the torso is really great, the thighs are great, heck everything is great :D I like that gun alot, And the suit fits a minifigure! Awesome! I look forward (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: MOC: Police and Fire hardsuits (a la Mladen Pejic's PIXIE)

Woah! Great work! Those are really cool, Very Creative, I like the police version espeicially, the claw on the fire armour is a nice touch. Keep it up! -Geordan- snip (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOCs: hoppers, cars, microtank

(...) Looks really good! But maybe you should use a more even background (like a big piece of white or light grey board) cos the pics are a bit busy now; there is too much going on (IMHO). I used the reflecting floor for some renderings ( (URL) and (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: MOC: Police and Fire hardsuits (a la Mladen Pejic's PIXIE)

(...) There guys are great. PIXIEMANIA! I really enjoyed these "logical next step" to hardsuit implementation. Definitelly liked the ways you added accesories that show exactly what these suits do. Which says something about Mladen's Pixie. Many of (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOCs: hoppers, cars, microtank

(...) Mutilating is such a harsh word;-) What he actually did was to simply remove the wheel from the car steering wheel element and attached it onto a section of flexible technic tubing. We need a ruling as to whether or not that constitutes (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

  Re: LEGO model: My House

(...) Nicely done. This is a project that I have thought about doing many times, but never actually started. As others have said, the roof offset is pretty neat. But what I am really keen on is the trim. Although I don't have quite as many bricks as (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: New MOCs: hoppers, cars, microtank

(...) Awesome hoppers! I love the ladders on the sides. Brilliant use for levers, and not as bulky as some other methods. One question though; what is the part he used for the brake wheels on the hoppers? Is it an official part or a mutilated one? (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: New MOCs: hoppers, cars, microtank

Amazing! He is really good at getting details in those small scale models. (The 2 wide layout is very clever). I think the hopper works best in yellow. Dark gray coould be a great color for the hoppers, too. Cheers -- Carsten Straaberg, Denmark (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: [MOC][MECHA]My answer to Master Pejic about Powered_Suits.

Hello, My Master! (...) Thank you!!! I posted it for your comment ;)) (...) We enjoy to learn form each other, and gather our models at some meetings. As you may know, Japan is very smaaaaaaaal geogrophy ;-) so we can meet each other (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: [MOC][MECHA]My answer to Master Pejic about Powered_Suits.

Hi, Chris. Thank you for a comment! (...) Hmmmm, I guess the suit steps on the ground. But also by the "Cylinder_Drive" on the back, it can float and fly for a limited short time, I heard. ;-) (...) The shoulder active armours look like a pair of (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
