Uploaded pics of my WTC under construction

All: These pictures are from Oct 2001, when I began my 2nd version of the WTC. The plan was to build a 5x5 foot plaza, the surrounding roads, and all of the buildings in the Trade Center. The new pictures start on the 6th row, in the middle of the (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: BUILDER'S BLOCK - AHHH...HHH!

That's a plan I like to use too. I'll just dip into a bunch of little parts, often Technic, or even just plain o'l bulk 2x4's and 1x2's and just goof around. Something enviably pops up and often times I'll say "Humm ... this might have a use?" (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Reply Posing Problem - User?

(...) Eric that's a great description of the process of posting and authentication... (and any newbies reading should pay attention if they're confused about how it works) ... but Tim's asking about why his posts break threading (they don't show up (...)   Trying to identify this keychain, think it's 9405/ice planet

Has a guy with blue legs, black upper body, clear orange visor on white helmet, and has a moustached face. Copper accents on upper body. Wish the keychain bags had numbers, trying to sort out a large bag of these and this one didn't pop out as a (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Sorry if we have met under bad circumstances.

(...) In response to your letter, yes, I was trying to get into contact with you directly because being direct is the best way a person can get their point across in life. I also saw that you mentioned that you needed bright green and purple pieces (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Try again...

It's a very cool building, not really my style though. As soon as I saw it, it reminded me of the building on this page: (URL) tried looking for a larger picture of it, but I can't find any. (It doesn't help that I don't know what it's called, or (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: New Pics for Sliding door MOC.

(...) Still, it's very innovative. Thanks for the update. (...) Good point. However, it wouldn't need to do so. You could put a plate hinge on the top of the door and have it simply hinge to the side. The other "runner" on the top would be on the (...)   Re: BUILDER'S BLOCK - AHHH...HHH!

I'd suggest trying to build in a different theme for a bit. Rather than make a new space ship, try making a garbage truck or a medieval castle or a technic crane or a mecha or something. That will help clear out your space-mind. Also, you might find (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jul-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Influence of heat treatment on Lego® bricks + minifigs

Hi all! Have you ever thought abou the maximum washing temperature for dirty Lego® bricks? At what temperature will Lego® bricks get damaged - for e.g. in summer in your car or in your house's Lego® room under the roof? I did the ultimate test (...)
