Re: Of ABS and Lego Hinds

You beat me to it! ;-) Looks great Bryce! The JSF cockpit piece is perfectly suited to the Hind IMHO, I really like the front half of the model, although the tail seems too chunky to me, I like the missile tubes under the wings, very clever idea (...)   Of ABS and Lego Hinds

(...) This is one of the biggest hurdles that I will run into if I ever try to convert my MLCAD designs. The beauty of using MLCAD is that any number of parts are available to me in any number of colors, while in real life, some parts just don't (...)   Re: My MOCs in ABS

(...) Thanks Bryce for your kind words and of course for the dat-file of the A-4. Making a ABS version the three-colour IAF variant is not as easy as I first thought. For the moment there are no triangular plates of any kind available in tan, and no (...) (22 years ago, 13-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: new MOC (look inside, it's a surprise)

(...) It is very nice to see how close you have come to the original drawing that you worked from. (URL) belive you came really close to making a perfect copy and I would love to see a second, even better, version of this mecha. I think that you can (...) Hey John! (...) I would say that they are the same except the word Mecha is used to describe a more ornate futuristic cousin of current day Robotics. (...) Good observation, it could be any of the above. (...) oooooohhhh clever, "rosette" of fingers (...) (22 years ago, 13-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: does this pattern exist?

(...) I have that guy with messy hair, a wolfpack eyepatch and stubble, but he's gone and shaved his moustache, darn it. He came in the 1464 polybag set if that helps. Don (22 years ago, 13-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: does this pattern exist?

(...) Thanks, anyway. I appreciate the help. :-) Franklin (22 years ago, 13-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: does this pattern exist?

(...) Ahhhhh, I see. Well, then disregard everything I've written, including that I have that part. (22 years ago, 13-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: does this pattern exist?

(...) I did. You posted that you had the face "minus stubble" (i.e., moustache only). But the link you posted ("(URL) to the "messy hair w/ eyepatch" face _with_ a beard, which is the piece I modelled when I encoded 3626bp34... I'm looking for proof (...)
