New stories, new layout, new merchandise at The Brick Testament

Celebrating its 1,071,587th hit, The Brick Testament is happy to announce it's largest update ever, with eight new illustrated stories from The Old Testament. (URL) also a new layout to the site, with the stories now grouped by book. The front page (...) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.ancient) !

Re: MOC: Jeb's Army Navy Surplus Store

(...) This is the tidiest store I've seen. If LEGO themselves made an army navy surplus store it wouldn't be half as nice. Well, mabye 80% as nice. Our a&n stores our all in underground street fronts (yes 2 of them, I'm in a navy town). Ha the alley (...) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

Re: MOC: Jeb's Army Navy Surplus Store

(...) Thanks Bruce, The little details were the most fun to make. Todd Trotter (URL) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

Re: Jeb's Army Navy Surplus Store

(...) Thanks Kevin, I decided to put the howitzer on the roof because I wanted it to be distinguishable as and Army Navy Surplus store without having to print out a sign. Besides the howitzer was really fun to make. Todd Trotter (URL) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

Re: MOC: Jeb's Army Navy Surplus Store

(...) Thanks Jake, I felt the hook hand was a fun touch. I'm pleased with the detail, but I never got around to installing the interior lights, sprinkler system or bathroom. : ) Todd Trotter (URL) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

Re: MOC: Jeb's Army Navy Surplus Store

(...) Thanks Bryce, I really wanted to give it a cluttered feel like a real surplus store. I think it could still use some more cluttering, though. Todd Trotter (URL) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

  Re: Wing Thing

(...) you to lay them on top of a larger plate, which you could never do with the old classic space wings, so that allows for more textured looks. Bruce (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Wing Thing

This may be widely known but it sort of startled me. A star wars wing has a subtle improvement over a classic space wing... (URL) just assumed it was eternally impossible to stack these wing plates together and make a wing brick... Good technique (...) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Sad day for space.

(...) Well chosen date: Memorial Day! May she rest in pieces... for a little while. (...) Not necessarily - now you can begin constructing "Myase 2" or a brand new space-station...   Re: Sad day for space.

Truely sad to look at but (as others have said) you've freed up a ton of parts now. And (as others have said) those are some great crash pictures. -Jon -- | The Shipyard - (URL) My Lego Creations - (URL) Attack of the Bricks - (URL) Keppler" (...)   Re: New Mecha and LDraw File

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 5/25/02

(...) Looks like something from Grandizer - like a transforming saucer animal. Very clever packaging! The Admiral(ahem, Grand Admiral)isn't going to be happy when he finds out how much it costs to insure a battle craft. The rates are astronomical. (...)   Re: Bot-Sighting

(...) Sometimes the windshield wipers just don't cut it when the air is thick with bots in the springtime. There's something called a "Botflector" you can attach to the hood of your car that alters the airflow so they don't stick to the windshield. (...) (22 years ago, 27-May-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Good day for suggestive Subject: lines, though! Bummer about Myase. Hopefully you'll be able to salvage some of it. Think of all the great parts you'll have to build now!
