  Re: Question about scale

I would have to agree there. My current project is a minifig-scale 688-class attack submarine. Life size is 360 feet in length, MOC is coming out to just under 10 feet long (and using an inordinate amount of gray slopes in the process...). Bill "Jon (...) Hello, The arrival of rust-dark orange-earth orange bricks have made way for a new fire station. This one inspired by the station on Webster Ave in the Bronx. A typical modern station in NYC. Colors match the actual one pretty closely, I made the (...) (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town) !

(...) Here let me see what I can do for you. Check this link: (URL) be a picture of the model kit. One note though, this "gundam" was shown in a spin-off series, so it looks pretty weird and doesn't act like a normal Mobile Suit. Rob (...) (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Question about scale

(...) To be honest, the RBR is about 2 to 3 times smaller that minifig scale, it should be much bigger. I would consider this a big microfig or something inbetween micro and system. Jeremy Scott xpost to .starwars (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Question about scale

What about Macrofig? Sets that are too big for minifig but too small for technicfig, like the Blockade Runner or should also have a designation. Dave. (...) (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Coast Guard Marine Protector Class Cutter

(...) I had thought about using the little yellow dinghy, but realized pretty quickly that it was woefully undersized for the space in the stern of the ship, and would look pretty silly, so I had to make my own from scratch. Glad it turned out well (...) (22 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Coast Guard Marine Protector Class Cutter

(...) Nice model, Adrian. I think my favorite detail is your little launch-boat. It's a nice alternative to using the ready-made yellow launch. Bruce (22 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military)
