  Re: pneumatics & mindstorms?

Rcvd my pneumatic components yesterday ... and am having doubts about their practicality. The smaller cylinder and pump (5116 & 5117) are not powerful enough to do much of amything of any use. The larger set (5107 & 5108) have enough power to lift (...) (26 years ago, 18-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build)

  Extendable Ramp

I'd say get them for their "undisovered" uses. Is the entire IM directory needed, or JUST the convert.exe? I'd like to delete all the rest if all I need is convert.exe, but I don't have the time to remove a file at a time until something breaks. Right now, it works, but that's an awful lot of (...) (26 years ago, 14-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)

Oh, and worst of all, the air switches are so tight that you need a strong Technic motor to switch them. We really need a compact electromagnetic air switch or at least a friction-free manual switch. Eric Brok (26 years ago, 13-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build)
