  Re: Guardian Armored Issan

Jeff, I just finished looking GA Issan over some more. Beefy! I sure wish I could see this thing in person. It must stand really well. Like you could just plop it down with no problem. The feet are one of my Fav parts. The upper legs are insane (...) (23 years ago, 10-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: NOM-02 Deathscythe Hell

(...) the pointy spikes. It's great how you made the wings/cloak work, that's my favorite part. The model looks very good from a distance, your sense of proportion is improving. Close up the building technique detracts somewhat, still a bit like a (...) (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build)

Re: New BattleSpace MOC - Cyclone Anti Troop Tank

(...) Very cool! It reminds me of a futuristic Sherman. Great detail. One nitpick: it looks like the headlights protrude past the front of the tracks and would break if it hit a sharp incline. Jeff J (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Pain Made Tangible

Yes, a moment of peace. Now it's my turn to dismantle the Mantis! When I get back from School I work nights for a week. Then some group shots of the dying Mantis. So, after that let's have a meeting and take the Mantis apart! Calling the Gardenslug (...) (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.org.us.gardenslug)

Re: New MOC: Mi-24 Hind-D SOV (Special Operations Variant)

Lindsay, The rotor blades were simple enough to build, actually: as I mentioned before, they're based on ten black plate-hinges from my old 8839 Technic Supply Ship. Essentially I folded five hinges into a near-closed shape like a V, arranged them (...) (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Hey there girly bot, I have come to....PUMP....you UP!! Finally creatine gets big in the LEGO circles. (really bad pun) That sucker is giagantic in visual mass. Your hand design is great.   Re: New Mek Tek Mecha!

Hey, nice work with such a small amount of pieces! I had to go see what the Red Planet Cruiser was again. If anyone else needs a refresher it's here... (URL) great work Ryan and Happy Birthday!!! out tk (...) (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mek Tek Mecha

You seem to be improving in your work. I like the colors (I work in grey and blue ALOT). You seem to have a good humanoid figure there. There is one thing I noticed...your feet don't angle with the leg splay, they stay perpendicular to the leg. You (...) (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: NOM-02 Deathscythe Hell

I could just hear Metallca's "Enter Sandman" in the back of my mind when I was looking at those pics. That motha is HUGE!!! I like your handling of the wing-thingies and the horned shoes. Now all you need is a Duo minifig!!!! I would LOVE to see the (...) (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO wedding cake

The outer ring of pieces are held by a few studded plates along the baseplate. Those outer pieces 'corral' the interior slices in. I have a new picture showing the six removed slices, and how the would fill the missing wedge: (...) (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Guardian Armored Issan

(...) Hey Geordan, Thanks! My goal when building is to try to fill out the form as much as possible so it looks solid. With the new parts it's a little bit easier to do that. I'm glad you liked it! :-D (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Guardian Armored Issan

  Re: LEGO wedding cake

(...) Coolio's... Now you can have your cake.... but errr can't eat it either! Ya know I was watching the end of a program yesterday that said America's most dangerous food was a Wedding Cake! Have no idea what that was meant by. Excellent work and (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Pain Made Tangible

Hats *off*. A moment of silence for the old girl, she was the best ever built... And my compliments, LFB, well done with the disassembly. When I took apart Atlas two weeks ago I was a bit more... shall we say brutal? Me, the *real* Atlas (a (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military)
