  New Female Mecha

Hi all, I haven't posted for some time, but I've finally finished a new mecha design. It's actually a prototype for some future designs that I have in mind. (...) Heh. Brian built my hand design... WOAH! (j/k) :-D (...) Thanks for the praise. LOL! Your comment about LEGO being clean is funny... A lot of my older LEGO is filthy and damaged.   Re: New Mech, Beast

(...) Thanks Matt! The Minifig legs as hands is a idea I've seen before. I really only saw it in the flesh until Mark Sandlin showed it to me. I'm not sure who first came up with the idea but I'd give em credit here if I knew. Roll cage sort of (...) (23 years ago, 20-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mech, Beast

Thanks Ryan! I've worked on the feet a bit, little more splayed out, so the feet look a bit more proportional. The cockpit was fun, like you say the challenging bit was getting it all to fit in. It's not completely sealed so to speak but looks good (...) (23 years ago, 20-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mech, Beast

(...) I thought the look was pretty good. The trick was getting a nice seal on the cocpit. What I like is the way you can pop the canopy without opening the cockpit. (...) Thanks muchily. (...) Dude!   Re: New Mecha & LDraw Files

(...) Neat idea, threading those control lever bases on a single lever to make a finger. The lighting of this mecha makes the brick lines less evident and with your studless style it looks very industrial, realistic. Too bad lego is always clean, (...)
