  Announcing my newly completed website

Hello, Everyone! I just finished updating my new GeoCities page tonight. 3 different Cathedrals, 1 Priory, several castles and 4 entries into Erik Wilson's Ancient Building Contest and a few others. Over 120 pictures all together, some of my old (...) (26 years ago, 17-Oct-98, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Extendable Ramp

I am trying to design a ramp which is extendable/collapsible. The assembly must fit into a space 8w X 4d. I haven't decided on the height yet. Does anyone have a suggestion? ======== Posted via the LUGNET discussion group web interface ======== (...) (26 years ago, 16-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)

  Re: pneumatics & mindstorms?

(...) Hello Nick, You forgot to include your full real-life name in your posts. I only see your first name and your last initial. You don't need to post your middle name but you need to let the community know your last name (not just the initial). (...) (26 years ago, 16-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)

  Re: pneumatics & mindstorms?

I'd say get them for their "undisovered" uses. I found that you can make a catapult (working and all, throw tyres/tires downstairs for cats to play with) with the right positoning on a beam, and made a Jelly Belly (brand pecific for their size) (...)   Re: pneumatics & mindstorms?

In article <rueger-141098184407...7.io.com>, rueger@io.com had their 2d worth... (...) You might want to consider the 8459 (front-end loader) it's only a little more expensive but has a compressor tank, three large pistons, and two pneumatic (...)   Re: pneumatics & mindstorms?

(...) Nice thread - I'll have to pick up a Technic Sub to get a compressor tank (or is there one available cheaper elsewhere?) Anyway... Has anyone here seen the high-quality photo of the soda-can grabber 'bot that Lego has at its Mindstorms site? (...) (26 years ago, 15-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build)

  Re: More raytraces!

(...) Short answer: I don't know. Longer answer: start moving files out of the IM directory tree, and see what happens when you run convert.exe. Have fun :) Steve ======== Posted via the LUGNET discussion group web interface ======== (URL) Search, (...) (26 years ago, 14-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)

  Re: More raytraces!

Is the entire IM directory needed, or JUST the convert.exe? I'd like to delete all the rest if all I need is convert.exe, but I don't have the time to remove a file at a time until something breaks. Right now, it works, but that's an awful lot of (...) (26 years ago, 14-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)

  Re: More raytraces!

(...) Hrmmm, I can still generate this error simply by giving it the path d:\IM412\ for convert.exe (...) Yeah, I fixed it when I stopped trying to specify a directory (incorrectly even) for the Step images. Dunno, but it works now, so I don't care. (...) (26 years ago, 14-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)

  Re: More raytraces!

(...) As long as you've got the convert.exe program somewhere, you should have ImageMagick as setup as LDAO needs it. (...) I really wish I could duplicate this! I've had plenty of reports of it, but I just can't make it happen on my system. Anyway, (...) (26 years ago, 14-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)
